muh DFGT. Really hope it will still work with some manual configuring. It's strange how they only have a small selection of wheels, with most of them being very expensive.
Recommended requirements are quite low for a game that looks like NFS. Can't wait to play it, I hope I'm far enough beyond them to maybe get 100fps or so, since other Frostbite 3 games run really well.
Also, can we take a moment to appreciate the fact that they're made "minimum" and "recommended" actually correlate to some kind of result? Knowing straight away that a decent CPU and a 970 can get 1080p/60/high is nice.
my younger brother was playing fh2 and uhh

THE DARKNESS CONSUMES HORIZON
I asked about the steering wheel compatibility. All hope is not lost yet.

I recently replayed the story mode because I wasn't able to finish the game on my original run (I couldn't beat Crinale or Angelus) when the PS3 was new. Smacked them this time round though.
Still waiting for RR8
RR7 isn't dead yet? Nice, gotta get back into it

Too bad you get Slipstream instead

God damn this bitch got me a time of 31,08 on Peak Performance. I can hit the 30's if I keep it up with this car. It's such a good car when fully upgraded with a good balanced tune.

While I mostly used the Hakosuka throughout the game, my 911 was the car that got me through fucking Component Parts, as well as those bullshit time trial races and the last race. Thing's a beast no matter what you do to it.

Best car I've used, I felt so bad selling my R32 but it was a good thing now that I see it.

Also I need people on Xbone to play with, NFS or w/e lol

If you hadn't noticed yet, RX-7 is the best car to use for drifting all day lmao.
Remind me to post a picture of my younger brother's RX7 on NFS because I helped him with it and it's pretty nice imo. Although I think he uses it for racing rather than drifting

i can't remember what crapheaps are in my nfs garage
Us PC players will have to wait next month for this
If AncientReality ever made a video on NFS, he better not do it like Rivals
Pretty sure that 911 is the all-round fastest car in NFS. Awhile back some people on Reddit hosted a time trial torment, all the fast times were in that 911.
I swear No Limits got more mods for Porsche 991 compared to the console version.
New league event these 2 weeks, 1st part begins this Thursday the 25th at midnight, and ends on Monday the 1st at midnight, with the group A cars and the 2nd half beings on Tuesday the 2nd and ends Monday the 7th and will involve the kit cars.
And the stages for both halfs were randomized so glhf.

There hasn't been a NFS game with fun physics after UG2

I loved the way the cars drove in Hot Pursuit 2010. They were really arcadey, but it fit so perfectly with the world they made and the gameplay they were aiming for, plus it just felt really good and was really well balanced. I remember Most Wanted/Carbon feeling pretty good too.
Rivals though, I specifically remember not liking much. It felt like they were trying to do Hot Pursuit 2010 style again, but it wasn't as smooth or polished.
The devs must've tried their best to create that mess.
Who thought of locked 30fps was a good idea especially for pc
It looks like the game controls the car for the most part and that it unwillingly locks you into a drift. Haven't played it myself but is this true?

Not unwillingly, I guess. I used the "tuning" to make my car easier to drift, it pretty much makes it snap to drift like the old games. But yeah, I beat the game and I never went "Golly! The driving feels nice on here!" It's pretty much like I remember the old games being, for better or worse.
Anyways, I made a drift car in FH2.

you can tune for grip or drift but drift is more forced and the game does tend to autosteer for you in drifts.
But does the handling get in the way? Like you want the car to do a move but you can't because it's locked in?
