I'd wait until they announce a full forza game before you get too excited
I dont have the link right now but there was an IGN article that said future forza titles will be simultanously devloped for both pc and xbox one
Got it
Turn 10 also confirmed to IGN that future Forza Motorsport games would be developed concurrently for PC and Xbox One.
It still doesn't mean that we'll get the full game that we are expecting, when they explicitly announce that a Forza game no nonsense its being released is when I'll get excited.

Yeah with any kind of gaming press you can typically assume guilty until proven innocent.

can't even finish a race without dropping off the map because I achieve supersonic speeds I guess.

I think it kinda does.
"Developed concurrently on PC and Xbox One"
Either PC gets a full-fledged Forza like Xbox, or Xbox gets a gimped one too. I don't see any possibility for nonsense there.

Again, it's one thing to say it, it's anther to actually go through with it.

Forza Apex for Xbox One confirmed
What's a decent wheel that doesn't cost an arm and a leg?
driving force gt
Those are 200-ish on ebay which is what i"m not really willing to pay. I'd imagine they're more on amazon.
dfgt's are the best cheap wheel hands down, anything cheaper than it is going to be a load of rubbish. they're $190 on amazon.com but you can find them cheaper than that used I'm certain of it
[editline]17th March 2016[/editline]
you'll end up wanting more from whatever you get at that price point anyway, if you're really into sims that is. i used a dfgt for maybe 6 months then upgraded to a g27 (they were on sale for £150 at the time, got lucky) simply for the shifter and better pedals (+clutch)
Is there anything in the 1-130 range?
Is there anything in the 1-130 range?
Not particularly, and at that point you may as well just get a used wheel.
Check out some thrift stores. I picked up two wheels in good condition at the local Goodwill a few years ago: an old Thrustmaster NASCAR force feedback wheel for $7 and a Logitech Momo for $19.99
I used the NASCAR wheel for a long time til I got my Fanatec. Worked pretty much perfectly except for the wheel being slightly off center, but that would have likely been a fairly straightforward fix if I were to open up the case. I just put up with it like I put up with the off-center steering wheel in my car. :v:
I've just seen one on the US ebay for $40, obviously you'll have to work out shipping costs and that wasn't the final bid but you'll be able to get one for less than $100 for sure

T300rs is a good shout. I'm considering this over the G29. Better wheel but you can replace the set of pedals at a later date.
I have a dfgt. I vouch for it but after not playing dirt for a week and coming back the logitech profiler thing shit itself and seemed to forget my ffb settings which was quite annoying. I'm sure that was just a 1 in a million glitch though.
I bought a used DFGT for $100 as my first wheel and used it for about a year. I'd definitely recommend it as a starting wheel, just know that it's motors/gears are loud for a wheel.
Are you getting an Xbox One *just* for Forza?
Nah. I got my Xbox 360 with Forza 4, so I decided to continue the tradition by getting Forza 6 when I got my Xbox One.
Forza 6 is loads of fun but I miss my Honda Integra :'(
I really hope that we'll get a good Forza on PC, my Fanatec CSR doesn't even work with XB1 ;(
If I can play cross platform with the next forza or horizon I'll buy a wheel just for that.
f1 2015 is free on steam for the weekend. Game's been slated hard, but should be good for a few hours dicking around all the same.

Fun thing about this car. My dad used to own one back in the 70's or 80's. I was very surprised to see the car. I made it the exact same colour my dad had. He paid ƒ8,000 back in the day. They go for €8,000 to €23,000 now.
I thought it'd be fun to tell my dad about the car he used to love the most. He was very into it and it made me happy as well. So there we go. My opinion the most important car from the new pack.
It's either me driving like shit or Stratos has become 70's fastest car like 205 in Group B since V2 physics update.
Did 03:33 on Finland stage, not sure how much I pushed, but after I finished the event I tried to hotlap the stage on Stratos, did almost the same time as Iku - 03:23

Nah, it's just Iku. Would've probably stayed on second place but I fucked up pretty bad on the last stage and lost by more than 40 seconds.
There's a Trackmania Turbo open beta right now. PS4 and Xbone only however.
so i've been looking for a good racing game for PC and project cars caught my eye, is it worth picking up?
keeping in mind i'm very casual when it comes to racing sim games, i don't get super technical about tuning up my cars but i enjoy the odd racing sim game
Something different from the usual stuff:

I never noticed how sweden changes the tires on some of the cars, the 037 looks so stupid with those tiny wheels.

There's a really long answer to the Project CARS question, and the short version is that in theory Project CARS is exactly what you want. In practice, that's only when Project CARS decides to work and isn't kicking you in the balls for something that's completely out of your control and/or ruining your experience.
