Theres no multiplayer, no livery editor, doesnt recognise a Dualshock 3 emulated as a 360 controller (though 360 controllers are supposedly supported alongside One controllers?) and also currently has xero support for racing wheels. Is there a point to releasing a game like Forza if you pretty much have zero support for anything other than keyboards?! Also cant find a setting for turning off the horrific auto brake and steer crap, or is that only in the first race with the GT40? Certainly not feeling the game so far, though it is pretty, I'll give it that.
only in the first race.

I can confirm 360 controllers are supported. The racing wheel support is on their to-do list. It's not supposed to be a serious contender on the racing market(yet), this is preparation for the next Forza release so IMO it's forgivable that it's in the state it is now. Just being able to do a race in Forza on PC is already a huge thing for me.
Has anyone used an xbox one controller with it? Does it have Forza 6's had brilliant vibration feedback? The controller vibration on that game is probably the best i've played in a racing game. Really let you know what the car is doing. You'd feel vibration on the right trigger when the wheels are slipping through power and vibrate on the left trigger to let you know what's happening under braking. [editline]6th May 2016[/editline] It was probably the best improvement they made over the previous games

We should share gamertags so your drivatars(TM) can ram me off the road instead of randoms.
Getting a new laptop tomorrow with W10, so hopefully it can run it. I've got no idea how an Nvidia 960m compares to it's desktop equivalent.

[editline]6th May 2016[/editline] also even though it doesn't support wheels yet the controls are very customizable.

Is FM6:A locked to 60fps? I snagged a 144Hz monitor a few days ago and I can't test anything yet because it hasn't arrived.
Quattro
I always thought this car looked like a spaceship...
:wideeye: [t]http://i.cubeupload.com/BgMbMA.gif[/t]
That's some wierd ass motion blur on the car.
I always thought this car looked like a spaceship...
it looks and sounds like something not from this world
it looks and sounds like something not from this world
I absolutely love the thing to bits
Is FM6:A locked to 60fps? I snagged a 144Hz monitor a few days ago and I can't test anything yet because it hasn't arrived.
Right now it is. I'm also on a 144Hz monitor and I can see it's capped at either 60 or 30. They said that the option to disable VSync will come in the summer, I'm not sure if that means "you can have it go above 60" or "you can now go between 30 and 60, not either/or". Hoping for the former myself, Forza at 100+FPS would be dreamy.
That's some wierd ass motion blur on the car.
It's a known bug that people constantly post about on /r/dirtgame Codies might fix it one day.

Fucking Windows Store. 12 GB into the Forza download I move my laptop and it refuses to resume
With all the bullshit with the forza port I don't think people should be buying it but gamers love getting fucked up the ass
With all the bullshit with the forza port I don't think people should be buying it but gamers love getting fucked up the ass
What bullshit? It's the best port of a game I've ever seen in my life, it's totally free and still has a lot of content, and the only real do wise is that UWP prevents me from modding it.
Win10 only, windows store only, no online no peripheral support is a fucking joke for a simcade game
Win10 only, windows store only, no online no peripheral support is a fucking joke for a simcade game
I'd accuse Microsoft for the first two points, but I believe the last one should get fixed when it gets out of beta stage.
Win10 only, windows store only, no online no peripheral support is a fucking joke for a simcade game
The first is because it's DX12 only. I dunno if there's a reason DX12 is exclusive to Win10 besides trying to boost installs, but I dunno how it works underneath. The second one I'll give you, but the last ones have been explained well before launch, and peripheral support is actually coming.
Playing forza again reminds me of how much I dislike driving the exotic cars. They handle the same as a honda civic but with 6x the horsepower. Always overestimate on corners.
Playing forza again reminds me of how much I dislike driving the exotic cars. They handle the same as a honda civic but with 6x the horsepower. Always overestimate on corners.
Better than Gran Turismo where everything drives the same :v:
Better than Gran Turismo where everything drives the same :v:
And 260MPH feels like 70 because there's no motion blur or camera movements to convey any sense of speed.
You fucking kidding me Forza? After 2 days it finally finishes downloading only to tell me my graphics card doesn't meet the minimum requirements (It's a pretty decent laptop graphics card). How about let me fucking play the game and decide if it runs well enough?
