Hahaha I tried uploading a video of the title screen to a private Facebook group and it was Insta blocked by Facebook
PC demo won't be out until after release.
The real release or the ultimate edition release?

Top looks like a GT-R R32. Not sure what's going on with that rear wing though

Bottom looks like a HSV ClubSport R8 Tourer. Another Australian car!

(About two of the cars on the list)
[sp]1985 Holden is probably a VK Commodore SS Group A. 2010 Ford isn't necessarily going to be Australian, but if it were then it's probably a FG series Falcon XR8 as that was the last year they made those in the FG series. But because they already have other V8 Falcons (FG series FPV GT F and FPV Pursuit, and a FG X series XR8), I hope that it's a XR6 Turbo instead (as they are a huge part of Australian car culture).[/sp]

I would disagree with the second image being a wagon. The wheelbase looks closer to the dimensions of the sedan then the wagon.

Forza Horizon 3 is fun.
The characters are still insufferable

Since the VE series, the Commodore/HSV sedans (except the Grange which is long-wheelbase) and sportwagons have had the exact same wheelbase length. Also you can kind of see that the silhouette has the dimensions of a sportwagon. Another clue is that under the rear bumper of both the silhouette and the ClubSport I posted is you can see protrusions around the area of the diff - something which the HSV Gen-F series has which the Commodore doesn't, so it's most-likely a HSV. And it wouldn't make sense for them to add another HSV sedan such as a ClubSport sedan or a Senator, because they already have the GTS sedan.

Well that's shit. I want the Ultimate Edition but I'm slightly scared of pre-ordering it.
i think i'm done with my stingray for now

i found out that they have custom hood straight from Grand Sport

Releasing the demo late is kind of shit, but if Apex is anything to go by this will have some of the best optimisation ever.

FUCKING GO CUNTS GET AT ME
Horizon 3 demo is pretty good. Shame it's not 60fps but at least it looks pretty. HSV GTS Maloo was a blast to drive around in
Also, I didn't see if the $ symbol could be used on vanity plates but if so, 900$DOOS for best vanity plate ever

Those wheel arches give it a rally car look which is quite an interesting idea

Yeah, I'm going to put my money where my mouth is and roll with the Ultimate Edition. If it backfires, well, I committed the sin of preorder.

not rally car enough unless they add mud flaps and fog lamps, which is pretty much this game's idea of rally car kits
i always thought this kit is based from Grand Sport, but then it's not even close

Penalty detection is hopelessly broken, but it's decent other than that. Car physics felt really off when I played it but it looks like they've improved that a little.
http://www.pcgamer.com/forza-horizon-3-pc-demo-will-be-out-after-launch/
Can't think of a reasoning for this, surely they'd have a playable demo ready for PC this close to release?
[editline]13th September 2016[/editline]
I'm not too bothered, I'm sure my 1080 can handle it, just seems odd to have to wait til after release to get a demo for it, especially on a platform so new to the series
i'm quite pissed off because my cpu doesn't match minimal requirements so i don't know if it will be even playable

i would say "we just saw what happened with halo 5 forge and dont want that to happen till the game releases"
is there a secret formula to running apex without stuttering?
things I've tried: setting program affinity to low/high, turning the settings on to dynamic, turning the settings to low, medium, high, limiting frames to 30, 60, unlimited. stopping every process that isn't needed to keep my computer on.
is there a meme i'm not in on? why do people say that apex runs good?

Mine runs great until it starts stuttering. v:v:v
It probably just needs more RAM and VRAM.

It ran just fine for me before the latest wheel update, and now it's stutter central.

Depends on your hardware and as mentioned by dustyjo apparantly for some people it ran better before or after certain updates.
I found that the game was a stuttery fuck but putting car and track textures to low did a decent job at keeping it stutter free for awhile. How much RAM do you have and how much VRAM does your graphics card have? I have 8GBs of RAM and 6GBs of VRAM and I still get these stutters.
[editline]14th September 2016[/editline]
TL:DR Possibly has a memory leak or really bad memory management, seems decently optimized but kind of not really.
Forza Horizon 3 reviews are due out on the 20th, apparently. Should be a good indicator of PC performance a few days before the early access is available.
holy shit the stuttering in apex is a joke, it's literally unplayable

Since I upgraded my GPU and it delayed the problem almost indefinitely, RAM and VRAM don't seem to increase at all though so I doubt that's it. It's something taking away processing power away from CPU or GPU.
BTW, guys, The Crew is now available free from the Ubi club 30 year anniversary thing, or here: https://club.ubisoft.com/en/ubi30
