Hopefully getting a PS4 at the end of this month with this game, a lot of money just for this game haha
Worth it. Get TLoU too.
Worth it. Get TLoU too.
Oh I will be haha, played the shit out of it on the PS3, one of my favourite games and Uncharted being one of my favourite series
Oh I will be haha, played the shit out of it on the PS3, one of my favourite games and Uncharted being one of my favourite series
Same. Both of the games have to be my favorite games of all time. Witcher 3, TLoU and U4 are fucking masterpieces.
I know this isn't the Ps4 thread but just wondered what other PS4 exclusives are a must get?
I know this isn't the Ps4 thread but just wondered what other PS4 exclusives are a must get?
Until Dawn
I know this isn't the Ps4 thread but just wondered what other PS4 exclusives are a must get?
Bloodborne
If I said The Order 1886 it would be a joke, okay? You can think about getting it if you're big on graphics, art or vampires and werewolves in Victorian London. But even then, get it when it's on a big discount. It's not that bad, but it's not great either. [editline]24th May 2016[/editline] Until Dawn is a must-have if you liked Heavy Rain or if you like horror films (especially Evil Dead).
They're technically PSN exclusives but Journey and N++ are always a hoot (albeit for different reasons :V)
Infamous Second Son is also great. Just started my Crushing playthrough. Can't wait to rage at [sp]the shootout in one of the pirate's homes where you follow the soldier's footsteps. [/sp]

[/sp]
The fight beforehand is worse, imo. Gave me waaaay more trouble. From that fight though, be sure to stock up on the Barok .44 and the grenade launcher which makes the fight you're talking about way more manageable. You can get rid of most of the heavy hitters as quick as you need to with those and then just keep moving fast for the rest. I managed to do it in one go, you should be fine.
Playing 4 inspired me to pick up the remaster collection to see if I enjoy them more the second time around, as when I played through them all on PS3 like a year ago I didn't really like them that much. These remastered versions are so much better. The fixed aiming and the better resolution and framerate really help make these game shine to their full potential.
I think i'll be getting the 1TB PS4 with Uncharted 4 and 2 other games i think, for like £299 maybe less, the other games i'll sell as I either have or i'm not interested in, so not too bad

A party of five all using the cintimanni stone would break this game so hard. We should all party up and try it.
I really hope the pre-order bonuses are available to buy at some point. I'd really love to use Heist Drake or the Madagascar sidekick skins.
What are the other two games that it comes with
Ratchet&Clank and doom I think
Ratchet&Clank and doom I think
Give them to me if you don't want them! :v: That's a pretty nice bundle.
I'll be honest with you guys; I'm pretty disturbed by the amount of people on Facepunch who are shitting on Uncharted as a whole in the "Uncharted 4 is not a real game" thread. For starters, how can anyone agree with such a dumb title is beyond me. Are there really so many people who hate Uncharted? Or is it just a case of people reacting negatively to overwhelmingly good reviews, like it happened before with The Last of Us or Bioshock Infinite? I mean, everywhere I look Uncharted has absolutely great ratings, critic and player-sided. It can't be that Uncharted is secretly bad like so many people on FP believe, is it?
It can't be that Uncharted is secretly bad like so many people on FP believe, is it?
People like to hate on popular things. I can't say I'm innocent of that either. When you hear everyone talk about how a game was good when you didn't like it you end up saying it was a shit game instead of simply saying you weren't a fan. Not that that's okay.

As long as you genuinely enjoy it, I wouldn't worry about it.
I get the impression that Rafe is a very unlikable person and hated by most because of the way he is. But I feel like I'm the only person that really likes his character, it's probably down to the guy that acts him and the great writing. There's something about his voice that's so soothing. Also he's got great hair. [editline]26th May 2016[/editline] Also Nadine, she's kick ass (literally).

It can't be that Uncharted is secretly bad like so many people on FP believe, is it?
I agree with the complaints about the climbing sections, since I have to admit they get pretty tedious by the fourth game, but almost everything else in that video wasn't only completely disagreeable, but a lot of the time was flat out misinformation. Saying that Nate is a non-character is just incorrect. He may not be as in-depth as some RPG characters, but each game developed on his background and humanity. The same can be said for almost every other character as well, with the exception of maybe Chloe and Cutter. The characterization is deeper than Indiana Jones and the original Tomb Raiders, which is what Uncharted copied in the first place anyway. And his claim that all the games relied on set pieces before the story was only the case for Uncharted 3, which is nearly unanimously considered the worst of the 4. And the complaints about scripted sequences were just retarded. I guess any game with scripted events aren't "real games" anymore. That makes the Half-lifes, System Shock 2, Bioshock, the Thief games, the Resident Evils and Silent Hills, etc. all "fake games" as well then, since they sometimes force you into situations. Let's just make every game from now on an open-world sandbox. I think the worst thing about that video was how condescending he was to people who like Uncharted. He included the "it's ok to like Uncharted!" in the opening to basically trivialize anyone would would respond negatively to his critique. It really feels like a "don't cry you babies" the way that he included the "(and that's ok)" as if he expects the Naughty Dog defense force to call for his head. And I got disagreed for saying this in the thread, but I can't believe people are accepting the no true scotsman fallacy just because this time it's something they believe in. What constitutes a "real video game"? Why does having scripted sequences and, in the video creator's opinion, a badly constructed plot, suddenly make the games not actual games? [editline]26th May 2016[/editline] I sound like a butthurt fanboy but it's mainly just the misinformation that annoys me. There are elements in the video that I agree with but they're minor complaints anyway (except the climbing, that's always kind of sucked) [editline]26th May 2016[/editline]
Rafe is so good man, always my pick in MP, too. His VA did a great job.
This has been circulating for a while now, but Rafe seriously looks a ton like Jake Gyllenhaal. I mentioned before in possibly another thread that I thought Bradley Cooper would play an awesome Nathan Drake, the way he speaks and carries himself, even looks kinda. I was watching the hangover part 3 last night and his friend Doug sounds just like rafe which I thought was really weird considering. Couldn't find any scenes but here's an interview: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IkQHgfe6N84

I don't know how to react with so many people agreeing with so much bullshit, and it's boggled me completely for the last days. I'm glad you understand exactly.
Rafe is literally G-Eazy
Replaying with [sp]endgame rafe turned on the whole time to make him look like the psycho he is[/sp] [t]http://i.imgur.com/I0RqSQa.jpg[/t]
That's cool how the unlockable outfits show up in the cutscenes.
I hope the cinema replay feature they are planning to add to MP allows us to do some sweet editing. Like the Rockstar Editor for example.
