Decided to go to a club and was greeted with the most distasteful bartender ever.

This is going to be a long night.
Can't get the Create A world tool to work :(
Cries about not finding the game data.

Did you get the game off of Steam? Because Create-a-World doesn't work with the Steam version due to the fact it has a different folder structure and registry location than the retail version. If you want it to work you'll have to register your CD Keys on EADM/Origin/Whateveritscalledthismonth and re-download from there.
I just had a rare occasion on when I get really pissed off at this game.My sim has spent over 25 hours attempting to put out a fire so I said fuck it and have her give up then quit that god damn job.
I feel left out because I'm the only one on this thread that only has The Sims 2.
I feel left out because I'm the only one on this thread that only has The Sims 2.
I have it. I just play The Sims 3 over it.
i like the sims 2 better because of the mods
plus sims 3 has or had a weird antialiasing error on ati cards
About that bartender earlier. She has a twin working in the same building. They look exactly the same.

I personally think Sims 2 has better expansions also.
I just can't stand playing The Sims without having an open town
Sims 3 expansions are just so-so, but it probably was the best game if you just consider the base product. I remember how amazing it was to go around the open world, which was sometime nearly all fans wanted since the first game, with no loading screens. Plus being able to make themes for nearly every aspect in the game was great.
info@jerrymartinmusic.com
this is email of the man who composed every sim city, and the sims 1 +expansions soundtrack. The Sims 1 probably has the greatest soundtrack of any game ever made.
send him an appreciation email, I did
Fuck Yes. That is one thing i love about the first game that i forgot to mention, it has by far the best music out of all of them. The sims 2 music is annoying, the sims 3 music is... alright.
Some of the music in Sims 2 made me think I was at a god damn funeral.

The main theme remix from the Pets expansion makes me want to punch someone in the face. Its horrible.
Bought Sims 3 because of this thread. :smug:

I'm expecting my cut then, EA.

I don't know what you're smoking, Sims 2 has the happiest soundtrack ever.

I think I play this game differently to everyone else. All I do is speed through aspirations to unlock the moodlet manager, then using that, speed through the skills to cook ambrosia and live forever. Then once I've got that I just make a big ridiculous house and I haven't quite decided what to do besides make a simbot. :saddowns:
[editline]20th June 2011[/editline]
Wait, there's an age-freeze potion in generations? suddenly this makes my ambrosia making feel really useless :saddowns:
What are some good mods for Sims 2?

Wait, what? What's ambrosia?
Explain how all this works.

It's a level 10 cooking recipe, where you need to grow a level 10 plant (the life plant) and catch a level 10 fish (the deathfish). It resets your age to the first day of that generation and gives you a really good moodlet that lasts 7 days.

It also revives the dead.
goddamn in the sims 3 I can never decide on which neighbourhood to pick.
goddamn in the sims 3 I can never decide on which neighbourhood to pick.
I always pick the one that came with Late Night.
It has a few houses, both large and small, as well as tons of high rises and bars/clubs.

I think the Late Night one is the most interesting.
I've been playing Ambitions for the first time and I'm a little disappointed with the inventing skill. A few of the big inventions are awesome and the Simbot is great too. But I was really hoping for more useful inventions to discover. Like 80% of the things you can make are just toys with "view" being the only interaction.
goddamn in the sims 3 I can never decide on which neighbourhood to pick.
I modified Riverview to have clubs and all that jazz.

Anyone else think "Man, Riverview's a bust..."?
Can you expand your apartments in Night Life at all?
Can you expand your apartments in Night Life at all?
No. It becomes a practice of how much shit you can cram into one, maybe livable, space.
Was trying to fulfill a wish to earn 2500 simoleons or however you spell it through tips. Played my guitar for a few hours. I have 2,489 simoleons. Grrrrrrrrrr
