That's from the PS2 version, right? Yeah that part was cool, i liked the one where you got a shitty house and you needed to fix it.
ahhh man i remember that. i can still picture the layout of that house and how the first thing you had to do was read a book on mechanicism then fix that TV. good times.
How is everyone building layers beneath the ground floor? I thought that was impossible!
How is everyone building layers beneath the ground floor? I thought that was impossible!
The World Adventures expansion.
The World Adventures expansion.
There was a patch to the base game that added it at the same time as that expansion.
The World Adventures expansion.
i think you can make basements in vanilla TS3?
I think every game has had some really ghetto, glitch way to make basements.
I think every game has had some really ghetto, glitch way to make basements.
I remember the completely fucked-up glitched way to do it by editing the terrain underneath the house, but that's about it.
I remember floating houses in the first game :v:
Last time I played the Sims (first one for GameCube, story mode), I ragequit because a 2nd baby popped out of nowhere after I made dinner. I still haven't beaten the first game to this day. :saddowns:
How much does The Sims 2 + all expansions take up (in gigabytes)? I had it all on my last PC but I dont want this new laptop all clustered up with gigs of The sims.
Mine comes in at about 15.8 gbs or so. Probably a bit more with the save game folder which is seperate in stuff. I think I might be missing one expansion.

I really wish TS3 would've gone back to the old soundtrack for the 1st Sims. Not direct copies of course, but somewhere in the area.
You mean like an orchestra playing the build themes from the first game? I'd buy that for a dollar.
You made one fatal mistake. You bought a console Sims game. Except the PSP Sims 2 which was more like an adventure game with Sims 2 resources.
Hey, I've got the 360 version of TS3 and it's just like the PC version (apart from the redesigned interface and the map being separated into chunks instead of being one big area, but that's because the 360 doesn't really have a lot of RAM)
In my opinion, Sims 2 is best for having an entire custom neighbourhood of sims to piss around with. In Sims 3, it's just too much work building everything from scratch.
Until I get some money, I will be using the Sims 3 World Adventures (have not updated to the newest game) On my Ipod Touch. To bad you can't have more then just one person.
Today was quite sims like. I got a promotion in work, so now i can buy a better PC to enjoy the sims 3 on ;) For now ill occasionally get on my shared computer to play. Installing as i speak!
Don't bother with it. There is almost nothing to do in it, and doesn't have different life stages or build mode or anything.
That's fucking stupid.
Is Sims 3 Medival worth the money? It is the cheapest Sims 3 game on steam.
Is Sims 3 Medival worth the money? It is the cheapest Sims 3 game on steam.
Medieval is actually a spinoff and not part of the main 'The Sims 3' branch. It doesn't really play like a regular Sims game. Its more of a quest based RPGish thing. I had fun with it, but its definitely not for everyone. You might want to do your own research on this one. In other news, I got tired of the paparazzi stalking anyone who gets outside of my house. So I built a water boarding chamber in the ground and moved her there.

I also found some pictures in my Dropbox folder

Is Sims 3 Medival worth the money? It is the cheapest Sims 3 game on steam.
It's pretty great, yeah. Questing is fun and there's always customisation stuff too.
I have the special edition of sims medieval :smug: Also I now have a gimp suit bride

And as an added bonus I got a special merchant outfit

Sims Medieval was way too limited.
It was too repetitive. I just wish they had different quests in each ambition instead of having to do the same thing over and over.
Just discovered that the kleptomaniac trait allows you to steal things. No more work for my sim.
Just discovered that the kleptomaniac trait allows you to steal things. No more work for my sim.
Thief!
Just discovered that the kleptomaniac trait allows you to steal things. No more work for my sim.
Stop right there Criminal Scum!
Just discovered that the kleptomaniac trait allows you to steal things. No more work for my sim.
I just discovered that you only get 10 percent of the value of stuff you steal when you sell it.
What are some good mods for 2?
