I think the only odds and ends added in Collectors Edition were just some new throne rooms.

Started up a new sim playthrough a few days ago, made him max out painting. He got an offering to provide City Hall with 15 paintings, so I decided to make them all large ones which were on average about $3000 each. I expected him to get around §60,000 for completing the job, ended getting paid §194,000. Moral of the story: Painting fucking rules.

Ok so heres a Sims 3 lot with history. It was my main home in the Sims 3 since the games release in 2009 and 11 generations of Sims have lived there. During that time the house has undergone many changes and contains secret areas and rooms that have a lot of story to them. But for now here are some screenshots of the front yard :) This is how the house looked in the families 2nd Generation: [img]http://i186.photobucket.com/albums/x118/drakortha/Screenshot-618.jpg[/img] And here it is in the present. Nobody lives there anymore. The family has kinda just died out. Strange thing is, half the people in town are related to the family who lived here. Now that the lot is public I want to give it elements from the tombs in World Adventures. Mainly just the room by room exploring and the 'fog of war' effect. This would make exploring the house again shitloads more fun. Does anyone know how I can do this? Cheers :) If I can get this to work I might even share the house with you all so you can explore it with your Sims. I could even implement some traps and treasures for you to find. Sure, this won't make the house's contents 100% authentic but it would be fun none the less.

If that doesn't work you can try a mod called NRaas Master Controller and use that to reset your lot. Another solution is to go to edit town and evict your family and then move them back in. I was having some errors with my family recently and that fixed all the problems for me. Just select your family on the map and make a copy of it to your clipboard. Then use the bulldozer to destroy the lot. Remember, when you come back to your family you will most likely lose all of your current promised wishes and opportunities. And also relationships with other people in town.

How can I go back to The Sims 2? I want to go back to it for reasons unknown but The Sims 3 has got me too hard.

They add up and then I stop trying to play it. I also can't live without Create-a-Style.

The whole neighborhood changing in The Sims 3 is just too good to leave behind.. With each expansion I see less reasons to go back to the Sims 2. After we get pets and hopefully weather I won't go back to an older Sims game.

I see the empty lot icon above the lot, but clicking it when the household is selected doesn't do anything.

what the fuck is this bullshit? i just got an error message saying my version of awesome mod expired and that i need to get a new one in order to continue using it and then it abruptly closed the game

are any of the expansions free?
