What's the best expansion?
Personally I would choose Ambitions or Late Night.
I dont like late night [editline]23rd June 2011[/editline] AUTO MERGE!!!
I don't like the town that comes with Late Night, but it's the only one I use because it has all the bars and subways. I'm too lazy to add that stuff to the other towns. :frown:
Honestly,I sometimes miss Sunset Valley.I enjoy Bridgeport but there's something about it that makes me want to return to Sunset Valley.Maybe it's because the water in Bridgeport looks like pure shit.
Ambitions is the best Sims 3 expansion so far. All the others have had drawbacks.

How big is an expansion? I looked it up on TPB and they were 4 gig FOR A STUFF PACK.
Anybody know of any good custom worlds that work with Night Life? EA Store has some awesome ones that you have to pay for.
Anybody know of any good custom worlds that work with Night Life? http://forum.thesims3.com/jforum/posts/list/0/191704.page#2311004 It doesn't come with any sims already moved in though, as it was made before modders knew how to do that. If you play an Ambitions career like Firefighting or any of them that involves other Sims houses they will move in really fast.
He's talking about the ones that EA made.
Found a cool London one but the creator recommends at least 6GB of RAM for it to run 'ok'. This is a good custom town: http://www.thesims3.com/assetDetail.html?assetId=3721704 Pre-populated too.
I saw that one. I'm really looking for something with a lot of high rises and just feels... condensed? Still, I suppose it can't hurt to try that one out.
That one has a pretty good spread of stuff. I haven't seen a really good, condensed city world besides what came with Late Night though, and even then I wish the city itself on that map was bigger.

The only 2 options you have is living in an apartment or a mansion.
There needed to be more lower class homes in Bridgeport. They need more 2BR houses/apartments.
Ah, I played The Sims all the time as a kid and still do. I have every Sims 1 expansion pack, and every Sims 2 expansion pack. Fun times. I'm doing a family in Sims 3 right now though. Pain in the ass because I'm raising them as vampires and I'm on generation three after six actual generations. Still, they have 200,000 in pocket and a three story house with two below ground levels. I find The Sims 2 to be more...well done in a sense than TS3 but it's probably because it's a finished product. I've also been considering doing an Apocalypse Challenge sometime. Those are tons of fun
Thanks for the links for Tomb building. I'll let you guys know if I can get it to work with my old house.
Since I'm not around a computer right now, I thought this would be a good time to show you the iPhone version of the game. As you can see I have nothing in the action queue because there is nothing to do. Bonus picture. Apperently the shittest TV in the game is a 'Fun TV'
Oh god get some edge smoothing here, stat.
And how could OP forget the greatest one of all? This one right here was amazing. Starts off with you being a shitty unknown janitor, by the end you're a time traveling, master fiddling, great basketball playing, gene splicing, famous son of a bitch. Game had great memories for me and was the first DS game I had.
I played the Gamecube version of the Urbz and it was wicked fun.
I used to play that on console. I can't remember if it was Playstation 2 or Xbox. It was a fun little game. But I'd choose the PC Sims over the console versions any day.
The console versions were decent to me, I loved console Urbz and The Sims 2 the most. Busting Out was fun as hell too. Sadly The Sims 3 was just a straight up, stripped down port. Fuck this, I'm replaying The Urbz DS now.
Oh god get some edge smoothing here, stat.
I'm sorry I cant do that Dave, it doesn't have edge smoothing or running at top resolution. BTW this is coming from Zanfall who is at my house.
And don't forget this. Start out as some asshole who goes to a rink-a-dink farm town for the summer, by the end you're the mayor. But then it turns out you're an alien and you use the rocket you repaired to leave, but it crashes and leads into the Urbz. Makes sense in context. [editline]23rd June 2011[/editline] The Sims 2 GBA wasn't that bad either, but after that they ditched the adventure format and now it's just bad. Just plain bad.
Played Bustin' Out on the Gamecube too. That was fun. Also, holy shit. I went on a mod spree today and with all the packages I have now, it takes 23 minutes to load into game. Then it just crashes as soon as I try to move the camera. Time to combine them.
Oh god get some edge smoothing here, stat.
Doesn't have edge smoothing and it was never updated to run at the higher resolution of my device, so it just runs stretched.
Forgot I recorded this. It's a good card game but I had an off day. Gotta love the personality quiz.
