Goddamn. TS2 was 16 or so with everything.
I've been designing my evil robot's evil lair. It's that little shed that looks all inconspicuous with a massive underground dungeon style place. It has a giant pit with a cage hanging above it, ultimately for paparazzi and it's looking pretty well furnished. I'll get some screenshots.

okay here it is :buddy:
I've never played The Sims 3, I have TS2, but I have to say that your hideout/lair is just fucking awesome!

You should totally upload the combined packages. Do want.
Made a little progress on the tech area. The room through the red door is going to be for when he adopts a child and teaches him to be evil.
I'm thinking of making an area where I can just dump sims and they won't die automatically, so I can just churn out simbots and make an evil army to unleash on the world. :smug:

I'm going to buy an expansion and a stuff pack, not sure which ones though. I was thinking Ambitions and High end loft stuff, is this the best choice?
[editline]24th June 2011[/editline]
Oh dang, modthesims.info is down for 2-3 days and I need the FrameworkSetup.zip file for installing .packages
anyone feel like uploading it?
Just got ambitions :buddy:
ugh now I'm getting an application failed to initialize error
I recently made a sim that I planned to start off as a poor nobody, living in a run-down apartment building, and work his way up into living in one of the big millionaire houses in Bridgeport working as a Star New-Anchor. I planned to play this sim for awhile.
Well, apparently sims like to throw books ranging from $500 to $1200 in the front of his apartment building. And at the rate to books come in, he'll no doubt become the richest sim in all of Bridgeport in no time.
Hm, would it be worth it to buy Late Night just for the apartments/penthouses? Are there any like cheap apartments you can buy from the offset of making your character, so sub $16,000? Will I ever stop asking so many questions in one post?

I think I like Late Night more than the other ex packs. Yes, there are low end apartments.
Decided I should reinstall using Origin, and it's currently going at 500kb/s because I've hit my download cap for this evening.

I really hate attempting to find clothing and hair mods because I'm so fucking picky.

Same here. I don't usually bother. Maybe I'll steal Nautsabes pack.
I don't have a tons of different clothing, mostly dresses. A lot of the stuff are small things like posters and shit like that.

Consider yourself lucky. My internet caps out at 150kb/s 100% of the time.

For the expansion get either Late Night or Ambitions. Both are good.
Stuff pack get the High End Loft. Hands down is the best. The car one is really lame, and the other two are only worth it if you want specific items from the expansions you didn't get (Outdoor stuff has hot tubs and whatnot from Late Night, and the new one has playground items from Generations.
If you want more info from each of the Stuff Packs and Expansions, check out this guys youtube channel.

He posts reviews of each and typically will show off all the content each has, so you can see exactly what you'll be getting with each one.

Taken from the GAME website:
2 GB Plumbob USB drive and Carabiner
European Sports Car Download
New The Sims 3 theme music
Prima Tips & Hints Guide
£5 in SimPoints to shop at The Sims 3 Store
What I like a lot about generations is that is has a Get Out frog slide.

5 agrees. I guess that's enough to buff me.
Heh, the site I'm using even offers free shipping!
My Sims 3 disc is pretty much useless now, but I decided to download Origin and see if I could put the serial code in and download it. And what do you know, it turns out that because I registered my game with EA, I don't even need to do that. :v:
The Origin servers are quite fast, too.
I made some bat caves with raves on top
Here is the one that needs late night and world adventures

Does Generations add Pool Tables?
Does Generations add Pool Tables?
No. But it does bring back the chemistry set from The Sims 1. Spiral staircases are included too.
Does Generations add Pool Tables?
No pool tables in the game yet.
The closest thing would be the shuffleboard table added in Late Night.
[editline]24th June 2011[/editline]
And to all those who have Generations, does anyone know what, if any, skills were added?
I've been looking online and find no mention of new skills.

No new skills were added unless you count teens learning to drive. Existing teens conveniently forget how to drive as soon as you install Generations just so you know.

Danke, any idea what's in the misc package?
Danke, any idea what's in the misc package?
Yeah, it's mostly just random build/buy mode items I was too lazy to separate.
[editline]25th June 2011[/editline]
Also, just a warning, there are a few things in those packs that are dependent on a couple of the EP's, mainly WA & LN.
