So The Sims 3 is $20 on EA's store with the code FIFTYOFF. Would you guys say it's worth it if I don't plan on buying any expansions or whatever?

i had just the base game for a really long time, and i had plenty of fun. the expansions just made it more fun than it already was, so yes
Anyone else does experience ghosts leaving the graveyard at night and driving off in cars to random lots and vanish
also when you try to interact with them they disappear?
I heared this bug was fixed but it doesn't for me pisses me off I can't molest ghosts without taking a grave to a residence
So I bought the Sims 3 but when I start it, I only get audio and no video. I had a similar problem with STALKER but fixed it by changing the resolution to my native through console (even though I couldn't see it). Is there any way outside of the game to set up my graphics for the Sims 3?

Each expansion is about 4 gbs, and in my opinion the best ones are Ambitions and Late Night (haven't tried Generations though)
Generations is a glitchy piece of shit, just like World Adventures.
Beside 80% running from A to B my holidays are quite the same...fire fire and fire.

Shit, I registered my The Sims 3 game on the website, and it didn't give me the 1000 simpoints :( kinda annoying, since the game has a severe lack of hairstyles.

So far on the sims 3!
I made myself, played him for a few real days, wake up, go to log on and the save has corrupted
so i make an asian martial artist called Lu Wong, and i send him on holiday to learn martial arts, but then of course he needs to go back asap to learn more, when he returns to the holiday, the sim vanishes and it sets the china zone as the default neighbour hood with no one living there.
I guess the plane crashed

With testingcheatsenabled on, i forced the mailboy to grow up, the next day he came around, still the same height but his head was floating above his body and instead of arms he had skin coloured tentacles, i went to screencap it but instead i pressed Q which closes the game for some reason :/
