wat
Is that a black robot?
I like sims because it's really the only new game I can play on my shitty computer. Writing erryday.
Anyone know where I can get a disc copy of Late Night for less than £15? Cause I can get it from Amazon for that and wanted to see if I could save some money.
To be honest, they could have done a lot more with the Sims 3. It felt stripped in some ways.
I agree. The jump from 1-2 I stayed on 1 for the first few expansions because it had a lot more content such as pets, magic, holidays etc.
is it possible to use retail expansions with my direct2drive copy of sims 3?
Just bought the entire collection for $80, stupid I know, but the summer sales were too much. half way through a 16gb download.

At least you don't have to pay full price for it.
I remember when the Sims 2 first came out, Installed using 4 disks and definately took hours to do! Each loading screen was like waiting for 2 or 3 minutes. Saw this thread, here in the modern day... Installed all 4 disks within 15 minutes and the loading screen is gone and done so fast that it doens't even have time to play the music I used to get stuck in my head... It feels like a whole different game playing it now haha!
Hey guiz, the alien robot from SimCity 4 is one of those Simbot things form TS2.
They're called Servos. :eng101:
I forgot, thank you sir.
Actually it's from The Sims, the first one.
Did any of you guys ever mess around with the textures for Sims 2? I had the official guide and it went through the stages and the files you had to change to get certain things. It took forever, as every age had a different texture... so to have a certain mark on your face for example, you had to change it for every age. I remember adding braces to one of my characters, and cutting away at some clothes to make them rags once... but seeing as I was doing it in paint. My skills were limited. XP paint as well!
I just installed TS1, now its time to make a party house and throw endless parties.

And I still do :v:
When I was young I used to think that was horrible... until I went round my friends house and he made the sim go into a room, light a fire, then build a gate infront of the door way and wait for the room to set alight D:
I seriously dont know why, but im just having some sims nostalgia. I have every one installed except TS2, and I am literally minutes away from installing it... :v:
My guy has managed to WooHoo every not fat chick in the Late Night city.
Jesus tits, how did I miss this thread? I've recently been playing an interesting map that's supposed to be modelled after the Toronto Islands, it's a nice map that mixed small town and city feels just right.

Is it possible to enable Vsync in Sims 3? I can't stand screen tearing. Enabling Vsync in the CCC did nothing.
Got a question, I plan on moving one my sims out of my current game im playing, I'm wondering if the move back into the neighborhood, or do they dissapear or something?

Would I get more money from directly selling my paintings, or putting them up for sale at the consignment store? I am a level 10 painter, with each of the little bonuses unlocked, along with having the Artistic trait and the Extra-Creative lifetime reward. Agree for Direct Sell Disagree for Consignment Store.
http://www.thesims3.com/assetDetail.html?assetId=4056268
Does the Exchange not work for anyone else on Firefox? It works fine in IE. :(
Iunno what's up with you, works fine on my FF.
There was a pretty big patch today for a few ex packs, mostly Generations.
