Just started playing this game again about a month ago and now this thread also comes up, sweet.
Since im getting The sims 3 at the game shop should i pick up The sims Medival and the xpack for it. They are 10 euros for Medival and xpacks so im thinking might as well pick that up too.

If so then probably.

Watch some gameplay videos of Medieval. You will see it lacks house building which is a complete no-go for me. The rest of the gameplay doesn't look too entertaining either. It's not even worth 10 bucks in my opinion.

Medieval has subsurface scattering on sims making them look 70% less like pudding faced deformed sex dolls like they do in Sims 3
Does anyone know any mods that stop sims from hording around the coffee bars from University? It's getting ridiculous now when community are completely empty apart from the one part where the coffee bar is, where there's DOZENS of sims ordering coffee nonstop.
Which is the best neighbourhood, if you have all the addons?
Which is the best neighbourhood, if you have all the addons?
Personally, I prefer custom neighborhoods if they are well populated. However, out of the default ones Bridgeport or Twinbrook is probably the best.
Which is the best neighbourhood, if you have all the addons?
For Sims 2, get the giant 'hood combo, which includes all hoods as one big hood. For Sims 3, I hope there's one too, and get that one.
So I started playing Sims 3 again. Started a family, and in order to increase relations with my coworkers, I have my sim throw a party and invite them all. One guest was his old boss, and she was elderly. Everyone arrives, and is going in the house. She walks up the front steps, and dies before she gets to the door. Everyone had a great time anyway.
Going to try out this Los Aniegos neighborhood tomorrow. I definitely think I'd be up for making a community lot over summer, once my exams are out of the way, though.
I went to Walmart to get a new expansion, but was torn between which one. Then I saw Pets and Generations next to each other for 40 each, and next to them was a box that had both for 40 total. The boxed sets were hidden by signs advertising the Katy Perry Sims game. Classy

a lot of silly looking shit but holy shit the closest thing to makin magic in sims 1
Came here to bump this with that. Looks way too Twilight-y for my tastes, but I guess it's cool they added magic again.
YES! I was at a pawn shop and they had the full Sims 1 and every expansion thing!
Now I can bring my Twilight and True Blood fanfiction to life!
I don't want it anymore.
The witch stuff reminds me of Makin' Magic, which is good because MM was pretty fun. The rest looks silly but at least it's not another Katy Perry expansion.
Seems like it's that time of the season, a new stuff pack is arriving!
