Seems like it's that time of the season, a new stuff pack is arriving!
Was expecting a pack full of diesel vehicles, perhaps gas stations, or maybe oil refineries, jobs that are more in the primary sector, maybe even trains, etc. Was disappointed.
Was expecting a pack full of diesel vehicles, perhaps gas stations, or maybe oil refineries, jobs that are more in the primary sector, maybe even trains, etc. Was disappointed.
I was too when I caught the title in my subscription box. I had no idea Diesel was a clothing brand.
First time I heard 'Diesel' was from Burnout Paradise.
I want to get Sims 3 for PC, but I rather have it on a game program like steam, except steams version is 80 bucks, and I do not know places to buy steam keys, Intkeys (Trusted, it works) has it, except for Origin, should I go ahead and get Origin? Or can someone help me find a steam version.
Anyone?
I'd wait for the summer sale to see if it's on there. I had a physical copy of the Sims 3 but bought it again through Steam as I think it was a bundle of the game, and all expansions/stuff packs at that time for a decent price. Also, my maid was in my bathroom sneezing loads, then this really dramatic fanfare kind of thing played. Anyone have any idea what it could've been? No notifications appeared so I have no idea.

For anyone wondering how the new stuff pack is and what all it has.
I never buy stuff packs. It's just not worth the 20 bucks half the time. Not to mention I've never liked how Sims 3 clothing seems to be taken directly off the runway of ridiculousness. Never any "normal" looking clothes half the time, it's all this fashion shit that just doesn't seem great to me (Male clothing is worse than female clothing of course).
I bought the first Sims 3 stuff pack, the high end loft one. That one was mostly objects, which I thought looked pretty cool. Also, it was a Sims Anniversary edition one or something, and had some items from the Sims 1, which was pretty awesome. The rest have sucked though.
I still have the sims 2 box. well i think it is sims 2,I know it has 2 stories, one with a woman and one with a rich man that starts by him dumping his psycho girlfriend.
I don't see anything wrong with origin my disc got fucked so activated it with ea And bought a couple of expansions it worked fine [editline]13th July 2012[/editline] Plus steam and ea argue alot :3:

Here, folks, you can have your Seasons! (not in English, but then again, Sims never spoke English, and I can a see translations coming the future anyway) By the way, Supernatural is looking pretty damned good right now. Have already pre-ordered. http://simsvip.com/?p=11803 And that's just the bit of it. The new town is Moonlight Falls, inspired by Forks, Washington. Yea,h I know what you're thinking, Twilight. But the vampires and werewolves and fairies are NOT at all like "modern" culture says they are. They're all actually based on the folklore that they're supposed to come from. Along with the ability to create a supernatural, comes 24 new hairstyles ("teen-adult sims and are split 13/11 (female/male)"), 86 new clothes for teens-elderly, 9 Accessories, and there's said to be about 230 new objects! There's a SHITton more to be said about this upcoming EP, but I'm already just overwhelmed from what I took in yesterday I just can't explain it. But, hey, Seasons is also coming! And it seems that EA got their shit together with this pack, so I'm willing to bet Seasons won't disappoint at all.
Holy shit, this excites me. Need to get back in Sims 3 again.
Holy shit, that Seasons expansion. I haven't been this excited about a Sims 3 expansion yet. [editline]2nd August 2012[/editline] Also, did anybody else notice, aliens will be back in Seasons!
I heard about Seasons just a few hours ago. Also, from what was just posted about Supernatural...it looks a lot more interesting and promising than I had originally thought. Looks like I'll look into getting both of these expansions afterall! Can't wait for Seasons though, that was one of my favorite Sims 2 expansions.

[editline]3rd August 2012[/editline] Oh, and by the trailer it looks much more like a Sims Vacation than World Adventures.
Can someone recommend me some Mods?
yes,yes YES i can finally make my facepunch name truly live in the supernatural expansion
I just purchased The Sims 3 along with seasons and super natural.. The problem is that I can't see even The Sims 3 in my games library.. Does paying with paypal do this? [editline]7th September 2012[/editline] Nevermind, they finally send me an email other than that I had been charged.. After restarting Origin, my games are on my list! Please list expansion packs in the order I should get them, I will probably buy a new one each month. (No stuff packs though)
Stopped playing this ages ago. Christ, it was so buggy by the end I just gave up. Shame too, I really like playing it
Whats the cheapest place to pick up Late Night? Digitally preferred.
Can someone recommend me some Mods?
For Sims 3? If so then I recommend the AwesomeMod. Here you can see (and configure if you desire) the extensive list of changes featured in this mod.
First day of work on my new sim , a meteor falls on the building :|

Wish Sims 1 was on Steam or Origin, it was my favourite
It seems complicated to use, does it have an in-game menu where I can change the options while playing?
I don't think there's a in-game menu for this mod.
I don't think there's a in-game menu for this mod.
Use Twallan's mods for the same (but different) functions, AND with a user-friendly menu. It seems overwhelming at first but that just shows how good it is. http://nraas.wikispaces.com/StoryProgression+Phase+Thirteen http://nraas.wikispaces.com/ Scroll-down for a list of more mods (which you SHOULD get by the way, considering it just so happens to fix A LOT of the game's problems) Honestly, Twallan is one of the best modders out there. Every time a new patch is out, this guy is SURE he's quick on updating each and every one of his mods so that they are up-to-date as soon as possible. Plus the site above is VERY useful for any questions you have - and if you're not sure of which option does what. I HIGHLY recommend using them for a much cleaner Sims 3 experience.
