Also, didn't that Allpaysitesmustbedestroyed one pop up at the end of TS2's run? I imagine that'd have pissed off several paysites.

So the recent expansions may be coming out on Steam soon after all: http://steamcommunity.com/app/47890/discussions/0/864949037794930587/ [IMG_THUMB]http://imageshack.us/a/img831/8282/steamcommts3.png[/IMG_THUMB] http://marlamin.com/cdr/single.php?type=app&id=223591 [IMG_THUMB]http://imageshack.us/a/img268/4400/cashcowdlcsteamcdr.png[/IMG_THUMB] http://marlamin.com/cdr/single.php?type=app&id=223592 [IMG_THUMB]http://imageshack.us/a/img33/7056/ts3dssteamcdr.png[/IMG_THUMB] http://marlamin.com/cdr/single.php?type=app&id=223593 [IMG_THUMB]http://imageshack.us/a/img132/8563/ts3snsteam.png[/IMG_THUMB]
There are still quality mods out there, just maintained on their own individual sites. Awesome Mod, Nraas, etc. Shit, I can't imagine what else you could need after combining all the Nraas mods.
They just released a patch for Steam that included problems with installing DLC and they specifically cited Sims 3.
They just released a patch for Steam that included problems with installing DLC and they specifically cited Sims 3.
It's been out for a few hours now, made be unbelievably happy. Got Late Night a week ago and couldn't play until tonight due to the game not recognizing it. Still glad I have it since it's really fun but damn, kinda miffed it took this long (people have been having this issue for awhile now).
I was flipping my shit earlier last week because I reinstalled Sims 3 and had none of the ex packs. Instead I just registered all the keys on Origin and downloaded it all that way. :v: [editline]24th October 2012[/editline] On another note, I wish there was more than one fucking "city" map.
I hate how you can't travel to Bridgeport (for example) from another neighbourhood. Maybe I just want to go over to the city and have fun instead of bumming around in Twinbrook in the same save. I know EA's trying to keep the 'minimal loading screen' schtick but come on, it doesn't work if I have to continually go back to the main menu to switch worlds.
Minimal loading my asshole. Takes 10 min to load a save every time for me...
Yeah, Sims 3 with nearly all expansions except supernatural and like 2-3 stuff packs for me loads SO slow.

Just go on to the Sims 3 site and browse. One I can remember right now is Los Aneigos but there are others.
Holy shit I'm running around the neighborhood seamlessly no loading times for other houses and community lots this is so beautiful oh my god I LOVE THE SIMS 3
Any links to some good Sims 3 mods, preferably a one that lets me wear a kilt?
http://www.google.com/search?q=the+sims+3+kilt&oq=the+sims+3+kilt&sugexp=chrome,mod=0&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8 ??
Can anyone suggest some good neighborhoods? Preferable user-made, but I may consider one's off the store if the price is justifiable.
Well there's Riverview on the store, and I'd imagine the price is pretty justifiable since it's free, but you probably already have it. The only user-made town I use is Sunset Valley 2. It's not that great for actually playing but as someone who builds alot it's amazing.
Anyone know how to install mods?
Anyone know how to install mods?
I'm a little hazy here, but as I recall, you go into your The Sims 3 folder in your documents, make a 'Mods' folder, and dump your shit in there. It should have a resource.cfg file and a Packages folder with all your mods in once you're done.
I believe it's just me but the more expansions I install, the worse my game gets. Base Sims 3 + LN was pretty good before I installed World Adventures and Ambitions. Is there a fix to that without uninstalling the expansions?
If it's a .sim3pack you can just throw it in the Downloads folder and install it with the launcher.

If yes, might be that you simply don't have enough memory, TS3 is one of the worst memory hogs around.
Worse as in your performance goes to shit? If yes, might be that you simply don't have enough memory, TS3 is one of the worst memory hogs around.
How could I improve performance so I can play this game fine?
Can anyone suggest some good neighborhoods? Preferable user-made, but I may consider one's off the store if the price is justifiable.
Builders Island is good if you want to start from scratch http://www.modthesims.info/download.php?t=403308
How could I improve performance so I can play this game fine?
Getting more RAM is sadly the only thing I could think of. It's just a badly optimized game, I don't think any tricks could fix it (short of rewriting the code, obviously)
I love the Sims, been playing these games on and off since the first one came out in 2001 I think it was. I haven't played it at all really this year but I keep on collecting all the expansions anyway. It's like, I've been buying and playing all the expansions as they came out since I was a kid (started with sims 1, then 2, now 3). So even if I don't plan on playing for a while I still buy the latest pack, like supernatural which I just picked up and soon it will be seasons. I'm like a compulsive collector of the Sims. I need help..
So hey, anybody know how I can make a Sim my Sim's woohoo-in' on a daily basis divorce their husband so my Sim can marry the shit out of them?
So hey, anybody know how I can make a Sim my Sim's woohoo-in' on a daily basis divorce their husband so my Sim can marry the shit out of them?
There should be an "Ask to leave <partner>" option under romantic interactions iirc

There's normally an option on married sims that says 'break-up'

The Sims 2 boxes don't fit on this shelf.
There should be an "Ask to leave <partner>" option under romantic interactions iirc
So far I only encountered that in case of the other Sim being in a relationship, but for a married one...
