i lost my Sims 3 disk a while ago, and i remembered i registered it on my Origin a while back
so i reinstalled origin and installed sims 3 through it in a process taking about 2 and a half hours
and when i was finally done i loaded up the launcher and was greeted with "Error: Game disk not found. Please insert game disk to continue."

Origin shouldn't do that, but Nraas has a mod to fix that problem with Origin. Simply removes the disc check from the launcher.

Try going to the install folder and running it from the EXE, with the mod.
Just installed Supernatural and Seasons, spent like 35 minutes creating a Sim and when I was creating a dog the game crashed.
That's why I don't play too much, everytime the game either crashes or freezes and I loose quite a bit of my progress.
So, does this game get FPS drops while fast forwarding and very very slow saves for anyone else?
