Trees becoming completely invisible if I zoom in any closer than low orbit is pretty damn annoying. Is there any place in options where I could tweak it?

It might be the same as the hotdog van which only appears on pre-made lots, or they might be in that part of Build Mode where the town stuff is, forgot what it's called

Seems odd that they'd be placed there though.
So it was a full moon tonight and all these zombies showed up. One of them placed down a stereo and they proceeded to have a zombie dance party on my lawn.

Any reason why this is showing the option to probe? This sim doesn't have any alien blood and it only shows up on Cherry. Whats going on?
Single target probe fetish?

My sim, when talking to somebody who is labeled as a Romantic Interest, has a bizarre option under the Romantic category. The option is "Confess to watching you while you sleep".
Anybody know when this was added in?

It was added with Supernatural.

also, when does a sim get the option to engage or something? It's never giving me the option.
My happily married sim accidentally accepted a date with some random chick in town, so he had is Alien daughter drop a meteor on her to keep things on the down-low.
Which expansions are worth getting?
Depends on how you like to play the game. Late Night, Ambitions, Generations, and Seasons are the ones I enjoyed most.
I'd say, if you can find Showtime and World Adventures on sale, then definitely get them. They're alright, but not worth full price.
I haven't gotten Pets yet, so I can't comment on that. And if the Supernatural stuff is your thing, then snag that one as well.

I love how you can "Try For Baby" at the Theater even when your sim is only Best Friends with the other sim.

Your relationship has to be pretty high, but you get the option in the romantic section to 'ask to marry.' I usually don't look for it until I've maxed the relationship score.
That's it, my guy is mentally deficient. His ladyfriend is VERY OBVIOUSLY PREGGO and he still can't figure out that it is his, especially since he autonomously calls other ladies.

So I got The Sims 3 + Pets today, ill be putting the key on origin later so i can finally make my own towns and what not. I cant believe i had to re-buy TS3 just for the world creator.
Also, Pets is pretty much the first expansion i got now unless any of you count the first two stuff packs.

You have to have the conversation status set to maximum romantic... as you are in a conversation you will see in the corner things like, "Susy thinks John is okay" that is your conversation status, if you do enough romantic interactions then you will get a status "extremely irresistible," if you cant do it then, something has gone horribly wrong.

Like accidentally targeting a teenager instead of an adult. That actually happened in The Sims 2 for me once. With University it happened more, and made me sad the 'college crushes' wouldn't grow up, they'd be perpetually stuck as teenagers.

Also in the Sims 3 teens are almost impossible to tell apart from young adults, it's so annoying.
