Okay this is just silly; zombies started spawning in my backyard and then pulled out umbrellas because of the rain. God forbid you should get wet while you're wrecking my shit.
Anyway, has anyone ever run into a problem where the disgusted moodlet stays permanent? I've checked everywhere in my house and my inventory and made sure everything is fucking spotless but it persists.
The only moodlet problem I've had was with the Hunted one. If I go to a crowded lot with several vampires, then that one tends to get stuck and remain present, even if my sim is home alone, until I quit and reload.
Well guys, thanks for the help. Turns out I just had to purge my whole inventory.
Still, wasn't as bad as the time in the Sims 1 where random dogs and cats would piss in the corners of your property so everytime you went outside your Sim would be in a bad mood.
Hey guys, I just discovered that buying the game and all its DLC on Steam totals at 459,85€
Oh god I screwed up one of my sim's skills somehow with that MasterController thingy, it's all maxed out now. Is there any way I can tone down the level of that particular skill?
$600 USD. Jesus Christ.
I would pay money for an Harry Enfield Sim.
I Can't seem to find any good mod sites, suggestions?

Spending it on playing fun games, I guess :v:

Well it depends, what kind of mods are you looking for? I use http://mysims3blog.blogspot.com/search/label/Mods frequently. I have sorted it by the mod label for you.

modthesims.com (or was it .org?) is pretty much The mod site. Tends to mostly have decent quality content, too.

I'm pretty sure it's .info now. And +1 on the quality content.
Modthesims.info for .package mods, and thesimsresource.com if you prefer .sims3pack format.
Damnit, I got bored of playing with my Private Eye and his newly formed family, but I'm too attached to 'em to switch to another household.
What do.
Starve them all to death so you can't play them anymore
Wow, no way. If I stop playing them, I wanna at least see them stroll around the neighborhood, being my player-created legacy.
Also, my serious zombie problem seems to have fixed itself, somehow.

It has way more and better stuff for Sims 2, there's not a lot for Sims 3
I've been playing Sims 2 and 3 on and off now for the last couple of weeks, and when it all comes together I really enjoy The Sims 2 more. 3 is fun but 2 just feels more, I dunno, more solid I guess.
House building and interior decorating is greatly superior in 3 though.
Honestly I find everything good about the Sims 2 is ruined by the absurd amount of loading screens, which didn't bother me until I played the Sims 3, I can't go back.

Oh, I remember installing Sims 2 for the first time, with all stuff packs and expansions. Waited half an hour for my 'hood to load :v:
Sims 3 load times sure are long, but they don't hold a candle to the absolute hell that was playing the Sims 2 :v:

I really, really miss owning a shop, though. With all this collection and crafting mechanics, running a shop could be even cooler than it was in TS2
I get so bored with TS3 now, it's to the point I just make torture basements, invite unknowing people and trap them in there.
The Grim Reaper has visited my house so many times he practically lives here as a roommate, I killed like 5 sims so far, it's just so hilarious to be relaxing in my house upstairs while sims die down in the basement

I never saw the appeal in horrible Sim deaths.
I used to kill people in the first game just to get headstones and to make a graveyard.
So my Sim got invited to his boss's many parties again, out in the middle of buttfuck nowhere. While he's chatting up his boss, some loser comes and tries to give her flowers but fails miserably. The reaction on my Sim was priceless.

Still, not as awkward as the time all the dinner guests turned into zombies.
Yesterday, a friend of the freshly moved-in girlfriend of my Private Eye witnessed the couple making out. His reaction was slapping the shit out of my poor renowned five-star celebrity detective.
Good thing he had a bottle of the depressed clown's curse for just such asshats in his pocket

I seem to remember either on the Sims 2 or 3, if you have a big household and you kill everyone, a message pops up from the Grim Reaper saying something like, "You are one twisted player. If the aim of the game was to kill everyone in the household then you've just won."
