My postman hasn't came in a couple of weeks... Could it be something to do with installing overwatch/mastercontroller? [editline]16th June 2011[/editline] iya meteorites

why am I finding so many?
Really dumb question, but what happened to the monkey installer thing for Sims 3? Did it get any easier to install, because that was my biggest turn off about the game series.

Not sure if I used the monkey installer or not, but I have a Mods folder in my base game folder. I drag the sims3package files into there, and the rest I just double click and install through the game's launcher.
Found out it is no longer supported. How do I install awesome?
Hell Yeah! The Sims 3: Town Life Stuff pack has been announced. http://sims.wikia.com/wiki/The_Sims_3:_Town_Life_Stuff
Pictures of the items in this SP have been posted on the Sims website http://www.thesims3.com/game/sp4/items http://www.thesims3.com/game/sp4/screenshots Honestly, I'm grabbing this stuff pack. The objects I wanted most from Generations are going to be in this one; tree houses, playground equipment, etc. Some of the new buildings and venues look pretty cool too. And the stuff pack will be $20, so I won't have to spend more than I wanted for these things.
So. My sim's teleport to a different part of the room every time they try to talk or any other action, and they don't stay at work. They leave immediately no matter what. This sucks.
I remember I once made a family of 2 people; a guy and his wife. They'd lived in the house for about a week and were pretty busy, so they never really had time to level their skills. Anyway, I sent the guy to make some macaroni cheese with his cooking of 4 and sent his wife out to empty the bins, throw away newspapers and such. I follow the wife out to make sure she does it right without stopping to shout or greet the postbox or whatever, and then hover over the guy's icon to go back in and make him put the food out. One problem: no icon for the guy. I panic and see what happened. There's a gravestone in front of a half-made bowl of macaroni. What did I do wrong? :gonk:
Good. I can't find the house where they're living now so the testincheasneabled won't come too handy, but I'll take a look into those mods. Thanks.
Well I believe you still have to be able to click on the characters to age them up, with the mods or not. But yeah, good luck.

Stop touching yourself or the wife is next.
because its clunky and awful? Also because the console versions sold horribly
I take it you never used it. I honestly never thought controllers would work with The Sims but it was so perfect back then. Plus it had multiplayer. I don't know why the pc version doesn't :sigh:
I got Sims for ps3, i want to do something crazy, but george melons wasted all his time as a paper boy, soon he is becoming an old fart.. i want to do something crazy like killing someone in a harsh way like putting them on fire or something. The worst thing i did was summoning ghosts, then the 'tard began fucking making friends with them, what the hell?
You made one fatal mistake. You bought a console Sims game. Except the PSP Sims 2 which was more like an adventure game with Sims 2 resources.

Though I am basing this entirely on like, the two Sims games I got for the Gameboy when I was younger, so I'm probably not that right.

I normally don't like the Sims spinoffs, but I loved that one.
Oh yeah I remember playing the Urbz on GBA. That shit was amazing! One of my favorite GBA games. Too bad I didn't own it and just borrowed it off a friend. If I ever see a copy of that I'll buy it instantly. Thanks for reminding me!
Damn, i dont know about anyone else here, but i find myself torn between which game i want to play. In my opinion, the first one is the best. The gameplay on the first one is just way smoother, interacting with the sims is a lot faster, and even though its in 2D, and building is a lot more restricted, i find myself having a better time then in the sims 2, or 3. Then, in the sims 3, the only part about it i like is that you have way better options for careers. But i dont like how you only have a number of sims in 3. In the first, and second, you could make as many sims families as you want, and you can have as many neighborhoods as you want. While sims 3 restricts you to only 5 or so. So, basically, if there was a sims game that had the better interaction and smoothness as the first, with the neighborhood styles that were used in the first and second, but added with the open world walking/driving like in the third, that would probably be the perfect sims game for me.

It had added a lot to the game, although I would have liked it more if they removed the aspiration stuff. Also, in the Sims 1, children would never grow up. Never understood why. Although I just looked it up to verify, and apparently they can in the Makin' Magic expansion.
After my sim interacts with another sim once, he teleports away and the interaction queue is reset. If they interact with each other in a hot tub, they fall through the hot tub. This happened after I downloaded the story progression mod, any way to fix this?

Yeah
Yeah
It's a Generations bug, I have the exact same problem, and my sims REFUSE to stay at work. All we can hope for is EA's lazy asses to patch the game soon. I know how frustrating the interaction bug is, the work one just breaks the game for me.
info@jerrymartinmusic.com this is email of the man who composed every sim city, and the sims 1 +expansions soundtrack. The Sims 1 probably has the greatest soundtrack of any game ever made. send him an appreciation email, I did
