Goddamn Bloodied Scarf is amazing, but it goes against muscle memory and I got it on an otherwise crappy run.
It softlocked the game for me once, i teleported out of the elevator when it went down, and the screen just went black and never came back.
Why does the priest feel so much harder than every other boss that I've fought excluding [sp] The Lich [/sp] The Dragun feels easier than this fuck of a boss

I tend to have a specific hatred for bosses in all games that have a period in time in which they are considered invincible but still attack.
It's like... why not just stay invincible the whole fight if you can do that?

but you can do the same thing if you have the item for it, and you are also limited by how often you can use it
of all the things to complain about

In terms of fairness its fine but I think it disrupts the flow of the battle in a bad way. You're still in danger but no longer making any progress with the boss, so it comes off as an annoying mechanic.

I mean, as a tradeoff those types of attacks tend to be among the most-telegraphed and easiest to evade.
I can't really recall the last time that Cannonbalrog hit me in the darkness. Also if you have trouble with High Priest's darkness spam, you can actually hide inside the doorway that you came through, very few of his bullets will eek their way through that opening and those that do are really easy to dodge. Dragun phase 2 is pretty damn straightforward too.

It's just more of an annoyance because the boss choosing to do so is completely random and takes up a chunk of time each time they do so. I've had the High Priest go invincible on me three times in a row with no break between, and it frustrated me. It would frustrate anyone not being able to progress that long.

Like this!
There's nothing quite like having a run ended because a ghost teleports on top of you.
Oh man, finally finished the Bullet and killed the Pilot's past with a half heart left.
Apparently the Door Lord counts as a Mimic for the quest to kill 5.

mmmmmyeah
about time
[sp]If I'd stopped in the hallow to pick up the thing I would have been able to fight my past but I didn't because I'm an idiot[/sp]
God damnit, died in the past again. The boss isn't even hard, I'm just choking under pressure.
Just had The Game, managed to loose it anyway through a combination of a couple of bullshit rooms on the forge like the one with four hammers and a Lead Maiden, forgetting I had the ring of Miserly Protection, accidentally eat the goddamn Orange at full health, and JESUS CHRIST NEVER FUCKING SHOOT A SCRAMBLER AT A RED GUNJURER.
RIP all the amazing synergies like two speed items, Scrambler/Stinger + Hip Holster, and M16 + Easy Reload Bullets (i.e. 500 grenades)
I had 7 leaf clover and mimic teeth necklace
We dark souls 3 now
God, I don't think I can summon the patience to try and assemble the bullet and kill the past. I'm 24 hours in, and I still can't even get to the final floor reliably, let alone get there having done the bullshit required to get the parts.

The Prime Primer is the annoying part, the rest you can get without much trouble. Speaking of the past, died on my first Marine attempt despite somehow beating the Pilot one without dodging.
Died on the Marine's past again, dunno why people complain about the Pilot's.

Like the Bullet King, Marine's past gets easier to handle when you're always on the move and far away from the center of mass that is the boss.
goddamn, killed another caped bullet reflexively.
Fuuuuck, noticed caped bullet the instant after I flip over a poison coffin.

fuck yeah, that achievement can suck my dick
So how often does the Hunter's dog find loot? I've yet to get anything and I'm not sure if it's very infrequent or if it found things while I wasn't paying attention.
It's random. Some runs it poops out a dozen or so items for me, sometimes it'll give me a blank and just go "yeah I've done enough".
Some of the rooms in Chamber 3 is just bullshit, especially the ones with gatling gun carts. Can you destroy them with explosives?
Some of the rooms in Chamber 3 is just bullshit, especially the ones with gatling gun carts. Can you destroy them with explosives?
If you reached chamber 5, there are rooms even worse than rooms with turrets. Especially the one where is a lead maiden and 4 hammers in corners at square space.
Lead maidens alone are easy to dodge in big rooms but with those 4 hammers all smashing at once its hard to dodge, and after killing lead maiden, other enemies spawn which can make the situation even worse which is just bullshit.
I'd say chamber 5 is big of a difficulty spike.

I just cannot beat the dragun with only two hits left. My weapons were amazing, I had fuckin' double vision, but the Forge slowly whittled my health down to one armor and one pip of health.
i will never beat this game
I got this game and have played about 4 hours... In this time, I have not made it past the third chamber, but on one run I got the master rounds for both chambers 1 and 2.

There's some bullshit rooms later in the game.

Especially those with multiple metal cubes. Also Forge is just full of red gunjurers, they piss me off so fucking much, and fetching bullets a bit too often which make them even worse.
Ugh, just water gun and shock rifle, this run is going very we-
