If the bullets spawn on top of you during the High Priest fight you are likely standing at a bad place. [editline]11th April 2016[/editline] By the way, the orc guy sells some really good shit, the m16 is amazing. The kill quests also unlock some good items.
M16 is god tier omfg I have it in my current run and beat Balrog being hit only once which is something I never thought I could do EDIT After the first time getting to the 5th floor is getting easier AND easier
The Kill Pillars have to be my favorite boss, just because they're basically Armos Knights from Zelda. Seriously, I just hear this constantly whenever I fight them:
Holy shit the proton pack is fucking amazing.

Aahahahah, Got the disintegrator on my first run, got to the 5th floor on my first run. What the fuck is this!
Bouncy Bullets + Super Soaker [vid]http://s1.webmshare.com/Pq3xg.webm[/vid]
It's either everything's been coated with that water repelling spray or icantstopcumming.avi

Made to level 4 for the first time after getting the Treanaught to ~20% without getting hit, and proceeded to take contact damage from backing into a Gundead. Ended up making it all the way to the Dragun, might have won if I hadn't got all of 2 keys over 4 levels.
I delivered all of the supplies to build the bullet to kill the past so part of me is relieved that I'll be able to do one of the past kill fights when I finally do get the Dragun's death to stick.
My motivation is getting [sp]the sick Hunter alt costume[/sp], I cant stop until I get it
Where the hell is the [sp]cell door key? I've been trying to get them out for like three runs, is it in a chest and I just have shit luck with key drops?[/sp]
Cell door keys have a 100% drop chance on the same floor as a cell, explore all rooms and kill the boss.
I had a run that could kill the Dragun easy. Like I was so goddamn confident it's unreal. The game then through literally 20 something rooms at me all filled with the revolver skeletons with flail arms and taught me that no, you're not allowed to win. Ugh. Footage of said run: [editline]11th April 2016[/editline] I should mention I had angry bullets too so I had doublebee action to the point the game starting chugging and slowing down under the strain.
How similar/different is this to Nuclear Throne? I love that game and I'm curious to see if this is worth nabbing during the sale
Aside from the art style being kind of similar on the characters they're nothing alike. [editline]11th April 2016[/editline] NT is more of a arcade-y shooter while this is a Gungeon Crawler.
Balancing issues makes the game feels rng determined every time. I just had a run with almost no key drops/shop sales past floor 2. I can't get new shit while the enemies kept scaling up, made for a really bullshit run.
Gunslinger is such an amazing item when you have guns that reload after every shot. Paired it with the Scrambler for bosses and bullets would go everywhere. First time I made it to the dragun and promptly rolled off the edge of the level during the bullet wall end phase :( I actually almost no hit the cannonbalrog and Wall with that combo. (Both managed to hit me once near 1/6th of their health remaining...)
This game is absolute baller fun playing with a fren, im on controller while he's on keyboard. So far I (solo) / we (coop) couldn't beat past stage 3 boss. Gotta practice and git gud. Any newbie tips?
man the cannonbalrog is rough

I've not actually seen the bloody Cannonbalrog in my game yet.

I mean I could see why it might seem like a good idea at first, but the actual result is runs are more polarising. Good runs are made better. Bad runs are made worse.
oh my god I found the [sp]lightsaber gun.[/sp] That weapon was so good I managed to reach the fifth floor for the first time!
I wish you could turn that stat off. Seems like a dumb idea anyway. If I'm struggling with a shitty weapon, I shouldnt be punished harder for having a bad first drop.
man the cannonbalrog is rough
tell me about it [t]http://i.imgur.com/1RUFKMP.png[/t] and then I got flattened [t]http://i.imgur.com/HsVBb6a.png[/t] probably my best run so far, was able to get the easiest room for the Gatling Gull, solid pillars everywhere and a game of ring a ring a roses
cannonbalrog is the easiest 3rd floor boss ill take him over treadnaught any day
There are people that find treadnaught harder than canonbalrog and then there is people that think it's the reverse. Reason for this is that both fights are a different kind of bullet hell and said kind of bullet hell sync well with your playstyle (or not)
I just did a stream for a couple friends where I just said fuck it and nuked all the chests trying to get the elevator quest done on chamber 3. Despite not spending a single key or buying anything I still only had 3 collected by the time I killed treadnaught with a pistol. Video game please.
Gatling Gull and Treadnaught give me the most trouble out of all the bosses because their attacks are very chaotic and less predictable.
The developer(s) seriously, seriously, seriously need to learn from what people have been complaining about for decades in video games: difficulty != Massive HP / more damage to you
The developer(s) seriously, seriously, seriously need to learn from what people have been complaining about for decades in video games: difficulty != Massive HP / more damage to you
Blood for the Blood Gun helps a lot with the damage.
