Man, last time I played was three years ago. I got the seven free day promotion and when I try to log into my warlock, Ragequit, I was greeted with having to change his name. Did they start banning that name or something? I managed to get it on Bleeding Hollow of all servers too.
though, I don't think yours would fit the criteria. but you never know, somebody might have submitted a ticket because they wanted your name, and a GM said sure because your account was inactive
I hear the game does indeed come with a level 100 boost.
What again?
I thought only Demon Hunters will start from lvl 100
So I doubt this will be the last expansion. From the sound of it, we're going to try to stop the Legion's invasion of Azeroth. From their I'm willing to wager we'll have another expansion where we invade the Legion's own planet in a big offensive operation.
Then old gods or something later, I really just want another world revamp.
And more Chen Stormstout.
I hope they release a 40 dollar version without the boost.

I think they are hedging their bets. If wow dies further they will make the legion win. If not then they will probably do stuff like what you say.
Naga -> Azshara -> Old god N'Zoth = fully erect. However this could be the next one.
Right now I'm betting, if Thrall dies, Illidan will take his place :v:
Also, explain this;
Gul'dan(from WoD) goes to the twisting nether to find Illidans soul(cinematic), because Illidan was so demon when he died, he could not die in the mortal plane.
But Illidan has not even died in the WoD universe. So is Gul'dan shot into the original time by Archimonde or wtf.

...Or stuff like this :v:
I want to know where Varian is in the CGI cinematic, it seems to be a snowy area.
An attempt to ''recruit'' Bolvar maybe?
Going to lose it now, why are you getting me excited?!

He shouldn't know about Bolvar?

Huh, didn't think they would do that if that is what happened. It was fun having Ragequit The Patient while I did though.
My friend told me to focus on the positives of the expansion instead of the negatives. The thing is, I did that with WoD and it was still disappointing. So I wrote a thing.
The thing is, a lot of what I want out of an expansion they aren't giving.
For the bad, they say class orders will restore class identity, but all it is is a clubhouse instead of a way to express it through gameplay. I think Demon Hunter is just another DPS in a sea of DPS. Artifact weapons seem alright, but I do wish there was more to it aside from cosmetic customization and the skilltree (that will no doubt have an optimal path). But the nail in the coffin for me is that, for the second time in a row, they have decided to reuse popular villains to prey on people's nostalgia instead of using the rest of the lore they have created to do something more original.
For the good, I don't care much for PvP though I guess it is nice that it isn't all tied to gear, but that has to have some more explaining done. I do think it is cool that we're finally able to go into the Emerald Dream for real for the first time since the game came out (Those portals have been sitting there for ELEVEN YEARS doing like nothing). The new areas do look pretty, but I wonder if they're going to go with the 'here are some quests and a bunch of bonus objectives' thing they did in WoD (I didn't have an opinion on it either way) and also if flying will be available from the start instead of a response to community backlash.
And the last thing I wonder is how they will put more community effort into the game. As is, it's basically a singleplayer RPG with online elements ala Destiny thanks to garrisons. I know they want to do more with the community by implementing class orders, but if everyone is the leader, then how will that enhance the community experience? Why not have elected officials and the like? Other games have used those systems and it does help enhance the community aspect of the game since people have to think about the people they're going to vote for and whether or not the policies in place (things like zone control, taxing players so the order can pay for upgrades, or even other members that would be appointed to the staff of the order) would be in their favor.
It's not like I won't play it at some point, but if it's $50-$60 on launch, then odds are that 'at some point' won't be until a good price drop.
It's a shame that mini Illidan is an alliance only class.

Blood Elves can be demon hunters too.

FTFY
Orc demon hunter would be pretty badass.
[editline]6th August 2015[/editline]
As much as I hate blood elves, I don't mind night elves, seeing as they're ancient allies of the pandaren I sort of have to like them.
Blood Elves can be demon hunters too.
Blood elves are as much horde as mycoprotein 'meat' is meat.
someone on reddit posted this and I think this solution would fix artifact weapons
"Why not phase each player's "unique" weapon to an average one? That way on your screen, all you see is your weapon without having to see people /dance naked in Dalaran with Ashbringer. At the very least, it could be an interface option."
I wonder if DH is gonna be resource-controlled like DKs and their runes? Seems like it'd be fitting considering it's the second "Hero" class.

According to the page, they have energy that functions sort of like a warrior's fury.
If the level 100 boost included in the game justifies it being $50 again I'll be a tiny bit unhappy. I kinda hoped they'd throw us a bone with WoD and the very clear dissatisfaction with the sub loss.

Using that as an excuse was bullshit in the first place. I think they are going to start including a boast each expansion to justify charging the $50. I hope I'm wrong though.

At this point I think Blizzard is using the data they have gathered on economics and farming and applying it to the franchise's fanbase.
I hate Bolvar became the Lich King, it ruined WoTLK for me. Arthas should of died and his armies unleashed to cause havoc among themselves and the world with the Cataclysm. Anyway if Varian plans to ask Bolvar for a favour this is will reflect Arthas plan to use a undead Azeroth to fight the Legion with.
Bolvar's probably too busy eating footlong subs and flipping over tables.
A thing to note is Tirion is more or less stated to be dead, along with the Argent Crusade possibly being wiped out or disbanded in the initial invasion.
Which would be quite a shame, as he had one of the best voice actors, and was simply a badass
Can't wait for thousands and thousands of subscribers to relog into the game because "this is the shit, man! This is the expansion we were looking for!", play the expansion and discover the usual flaws and unsub, with the media reporting that "World of Warcraft is myseriously losing a milion or so of subscribers"
I'm also surprised that Warlords of Draenor ended so abruptly and that, if the info about Legion is anything to go by, the next main antagonist is going to be Sargeras, so I wonder what are going to do once they'll kill off the big bad of the setting
Also, did we finally get some news about N'Zoth? No? Well.
Which would be quite a shame, as he had one of the best voice actors, and was simply a badass
His VA died though.
His VA died though.
Wikipedia says he's alive.
It isn't Bernard Hill. I don't even know why people keep saying it is, if you actually compare the voices they sound nothing alike. At one point last year someone even added WotLK to his imdb resume, that has since been removed.
The guy's name is Malachi Throne. He played a small role in an episode of The Last Airbender (the character's name is Colonel Monkey or something). Compare his voice to Tirion's and it's a dead match. He's also apparently done a bunch of other voice acting for video games, all of them uncredited, presumably by request. Hence why a VA for Tirion never appeared in WotLK's credits. He died a couple of years ago, which is also why Tirion has a completely different voice in Hearthstone.
I might come back just to try the the new PvP/class.
Though they better buff warlock to MoP days.
