Honestly yeah this might be the last expansion. I don't know, just feels sudden. Like they wanted to do a South Seas expansion with Azshara and the Broken Isles and such, and after that a final super badass Legion expansion with all the lore characters and the relics and stuff but they might have pulled the plug on that and combined them into...this.
I'm still fairly hyped but this isn't exactly what I expected.
A thing to note is Tirion is more or less stated to be dead, along with the Argent Crusade possibly being wiped out or disbanded in the initial invasion.
Wouldn't it make more sense for the crusade to disband and turn back into the silver hand now that Arthas is dead.
Give me old gods. There should be 5, so theres one we havent heard of
I think you're the first person I've ever seen want more old gods.

The boss fights against the old gods in World of Warcraft have a tendency to be fucking awesome
Also, again, N'Zoth, the supposed bigger bad of the Cataclysm expansion, has yet to be featured

That sucks.
I've always loved the Crusade. If they gave an option to join it over the other factions I totally would.
Tirion probably died from old age before Blizzard actually let him do anything relevant again.
Been thinking of getting back into this again, sorta just faded out after finishing up WoD.
Saw Legion and got hyped up again, seems the endless cycle continues.
Yeah. I boosted a rogue and I'm having fun.
Honestly yeah this might be the last expansion.
What do you think would happen if that were the case? Another Warcraft MMO, with an updated engine and graphics, or a whole new world? Would anything carry over? I feel like the possibilities are endless.
French interview reveals that there are no weapon drops in Legion, you're gonna use the artifacts for the entire expansion
Stupid if that's the case
I won't complain if they can be transmogged. I don't usually care for the newer armor/weapon designs.
Wait, then how the hell do you level stuff like Enchanting? Doesn't it rely on getting stuff like random greens?
Unless then your only way to do so is dungeon blues, which seems like a terrible idea. Of course i know there's armor drops, but i recall weapons having other materials or something.
It's been a while.

Serious? I wouldn't have minded if it were just for leveling and then getting better weapons from heroics/raids, but this is a bit stupid.
Been getting savage satchels and manged to get 7 pieces of Baleful gear for my rogue.

...
What.
[editline]7th August 2015[/editline]
So now we have heirlooms which we use from level 1 to max level, and at max level we will now be using the same weapon all the time as well.
[editline]7th August 2015[/editline]
Getting new equipment drop from bosses is like one of the most exciting things about this game.
How does the CP cap work?
[editline]7th August 2015[/editline]
I can't get any more CP this whole week from one day of BG's and arenas.
My cap is at 1700 now but it was 6-7k just a few weeks ago I think.
I would like to see some armor. I've always loved the armor design in WoW.
And as some others have said, so long as we can transmog our artifact, I won't complain too much.
Honestly i don't mind the Artifact thing too much, as long as you can transmog it.
Retain the stats, but still be able to have your weapon look however you want, besides the new alternate versions gained through the Artifact progression.
Also hopefully give us the ability to mog to look like legendaries. Seems kinda sad to go through that work for things like Thunderfury only to have the achievement as proof.
Yeah I do hope we will be able to transmog to legendary items.
I don't see a reason why it's not allowed.

Apparantly one of the reasons was the exact thing they're doing here - They didn't want everyone running around with major lore weapons (Imagine how many rogues would be mogging to the warglaives from Black Temple).
Seems like a pointless restriction now literally every paladin will have Ashbringer.
Seems kinda silly that they didn't just give Shadowmourne to DK's. It's arguably the most powerful DK weapon after Frostmourne lore-wise.
It isn't Bernard Hill. I don't even know why people keep saying it is, if you actually compare the voices they sound nothing alike. At one point last year someone even added WotLK to his imdb resume, that has since been removed.
The guy's name is Malachi Throne. He played a small role in an episode of The Last Airbender (the character's name is Colonel Monkey or something). Compare his voice to Tirion's and it's a dead match. He's also apparently done a bunch of other voice acting for video games, all of them uncredited, presumably by request. Hence why a VA for Tirion never appeared in WotLK's credits. He died a couple of years ago, which is also why Tirion has a completely different voice in Hearthstone.
As a matter of fact, it IS Bernard Hill. They sound pretty much exactly the same.
yeah, the more I hear the more my fears are a bit more allayed about this expac
Personally i'm not really a fan of having such a massive lore weapon.
I know they've done it for some classes like frost DK but I would've been much happier with a weapon that is forged from the essence of these lore weapons, like what they're doing with the shards of frostmourne.
Wielding doomhammer and Ashbringer seems a bit weird to me.
Wondering how exactly they'll change up Demonology to be pure demon focus. Maybe having stuff like Supremacy be a baseline upgrade to your demons?
Maybe even a higher upgrade than that in later levels?
Also liking how each Hunter spec will be wildly different. Either go up close with your pet, send in the pet and hold back, or play on your own without any major drawbacks (if they can find a way to compensate for not having a personal mini-tank).
Have they said anything about how this will be priced?
I hope they do more to balance the uneven ratio of horde:Alliance ratio on some servers.
Have they said anything about how this will be priced?
Most likely full price
