That is going to be really awkward when brought up in conversation, Illidan consumed his skull for his demonic powers and then kept it as a trophy.
"Gee Illidan! How come your master lets you hold TWO skulls of Gul'Dan?"
Probably will be used like it was used for the warlock fire quest. Which is a shame, because I liked the mini-dungeons. They said Draenor forces will remain in Draenor and not help against the Legion, so I assume that includes Durotan, Yrel and Grom.
My waifu isn't coming to help me? Noooooooooooo
personally not looking forward to more jet black and radioactive green scenery everything else sounds pretty neato though
personally not looking forward to more jet black and radioactive green scenery everything else sounds pretty neato though
I'm a sucker for that kind of shit. Also, I think those type of environments are going to be very limited. The rest of the zones look very diverse.
Illidan now can now hold the entire Gul'dan on his hand instead of just his skull
Wilson.. he's back! :v:
I just hope they can make some music on the level of WotLK again.
I just hope they can make some music on the level of WotLK again.
In my opinion Blizzard's music game is as flawless as it's ever been.

The music team gets my utmost respect every expansion.
I think WotLK was on a level of it's own. The other expansion have high-quality music, but for the most part they all sound like standard "epic high fantasy orchestra." WotLK's soundtrack on the other hand, gave a unique life and personality to each zone in away I don't think Blizzard has done before or since.
I think the character level inflation is becoming a problem. As the level cap increased, they scaled the overall XP requirement to get to max level, in order to make leveling take roughly the same amount of time from 1 to 100 as 1 to X in previous expansions (although slightly quicker with heirlooms and dungeon finder). The thing is though that the amount of zones remain, and the zone level range is quite narrow (going from 10 levels per zone to 2 levels per zone). And since the amount of time to gain a level has gone down dramatically, you're basically blitzing through content without getting the chance to interact with people. Having this many zones and such narrow level ranges in them also means you're effectively splitting up the entire community more and more as the level cap increases. I am not really sure how you'd fix it though; I am not sure cutting up and removing zones would be a good idea.
Leveling is far too quick and I hate the fact that you're one-shotting everything while barely taking any damage.

So apparently if you want green fire you have to kill rare elites on Isle of Thunder, competing with people that aren't even on your server as well as those trying just sell it (because for some reason you're allowed to pick up more than one). Pretty genius on blizz's part

I think my overall favorites would have to be the original base game's soundtrack, and perhaps Mists. That being said, I'm sorta biased since Mist's musical style is one of my favourites.

Still one of my favorite pieces of video game music. WotLK felt like one of the most energized expansions since I felt like I was drowning in that classic 'warcrafty' feel. Felt very rich.
I think I spent most of my time playing WoD with the music off and the ambiance turned up. I don't know why. The music isn't bad or anything. Some of it just sounded kind of generic to me.
for a bit of fun I decided I'd set up a burning crusade private server and fly around to look at the old world and whatnot and I found that Hyjal is actually fully laid out. not like it is in cataclysm, but insanely detailed considering it's somewhere you couldn't go to in BC. I know there's the battle for mount hyjal instance, but surely that shouldn't be using the same world space/map as, well, the rest of the world. is there a cutscene at some point that uses it? quests that I just forgot about?
Illidan now can now hold the entire Gul'dan on his hand instead of just his skull
I now have the mental image of Illidan carrying Gul'dan around everywhere like some oversized stuffed animal. :v:
So i'm rather on the fence currently for coming back to this. Had fun for the most part, though i did drop off during the painful wait for 6.2. Should i even bother? Blizzard couldn't finish it in classic wow for whatever reason, was probably that they had a hard time finishing the zones they already had (Enemies in silithus literally didn't have loot, they hadn't put loot on them yet, and this was when the game launched). My favorite thing about old hyjal was the under construction sign they put on one of the roads as a little easter egg for players who had glitched their way in.
I really like the Zangersea music, it had a proper sense of adventure to it; very piratey.

Since this new expansion is with the Burning Legion, I hope we can fight Jaraxxus again, he was funny as hell

[t]http://i.imgur.com/ROazFxa.jpg[/t] :v:
There was also graymane's wall too, for zones put into the "we'll finish it later" bin. I remember you could glitch yout way behind it, but it was just flat grass surrounded by tall mountains. I think the other zones like a part of the twilight highlands were just empty as well, protected by mountains. Though, I can't remember if the twilight highlands were like uldum where they just flat out weren't on the map until the cataclysm. I think a part of it was, but not the whole thing. And even today, there's a small area above tirisfal glades called quel'thalas that you can't get into. You could glitch your way in with a flying mount, but blizz fixed fun. Makes me miss how glitchy the game used to be. It used to be so damn easy to glitch out of a zone and be able to explore things. Ah well, we still have silvermoon that you can use aviana's feather to explore.
Trolls are the best race and can be any class except paladins TAZDINGOOOOO
But what if i wanted to play Paladin? And i don't even know what faction to go for, Alliance has the more militial feel to it while horde seems more savage.
I just took another look at the Legion header page and it says
With the Alliance and Horde devastated[...]
I'm probably missing something, but isn't the Alliance fine? The only major defeat they suffered that I can recall is Theramore. Meanwhile, the Horde had their faction capital raided by a rebellion and the entirety of the Alliance at once. I'm also pretty sure about half of the Horde's fighting forces were lost in the conflict inbetween Garrosh and the traitors.
But what if i wanted to play Paladin? And i don't even know what faction to go for, Alliance has the more militial feel to it while horde seems more savage.
It be a flaw of da paladin class not the race mon

There wasn't any blank space taking into account the size of Uldum Twilight Highlands had a bit more flat space but it wasn't the size it is in Cataclysm
