That's because the ilvl "range" (going from shit-tier to pro-tier) shifts upward as new raids come out
My rogue is 720 pvp ilvl and I like him more then my main pally tank now.
I think I'm going Alliance next xpac. I've had a decent experience compared to Horde.
I played Rogue and it was miserable, I had to change to a different character once we reached it's level cause my friends were sick of me complaining. I fuckin hate Rogue and fight me irl if that bothers you. #Paladin4lyf
I love tanking, and the concept of it. Prot warrior will always be my loving main. Does anyone know if you can work towards achievements in trial mode of the game? Was going to start a loremaster's run through but was going to activate my account at level 20.
i cant play any dps after switching to tank, melee dps is especially boring
I couldn't imagine playing like, a WW monk or feral druid as melee DPS. Classes like Paladins and DKs I don't mind, because you have some utility you can throw around to help the raid. Such as deathgripping caster mobs into the death ball, and anti-magic zones for DKs. Rogues also somewhat.
I will probably level one of my many warriors and then my mage, but that's it this expansion. They confirmed there will be no catch up mechanic for alts so I'm not doing 7 characters in the third expansion with no way to speed up the dumb grind. Pretty sure we were told garrisons would get some love for people with alts and as far as I have seen we didn't get shit. I just stopped logging in to most of my alts because all the add-ons on the world couldn't speed that shit up. After grinding out the rep dailies + cloak in mop and the garrisons + ring in wod on multiple characters, no way in hell am I leveling an artifact in legion on them
If garrisons were account bound like 80% of my hate for them would be gone, I just can't stop leveling alts, and it sucks ass I have to pay a bunch of gold/resources when they hit level 100 to get the level 3 if I want to do tanaan jungle to get them some gear. If like, every building except the 3 professions were synchronized between characters I would be so happy. They don't even sync stuff like the jukebox/followers/blueprints. And imagine how cool it would be if you could see your alts just sitting in your garrison when you're on a different character.
WW is fairly self-sufficient, with chi bubbles and blackout kick heals and whatnot. Multiple utilities for controlling trash mobs. Sure as fuck can't solo an elite though
And imagine how cool it would be if you could see your alts just sitting in your garrison when you're on a different character.
That would be wicked
Anyone else notice the story just went in a circle back to Warcraft 3 with a slightly different premise? http://wowwiki.wikia.com/wiki/The_Tomb_of_Sargeras_(Warcraft_III) Gul'dan this time managed to completely fuck over Azeroth by bringing the legion back, Illidan is relevant again. Maiev, now all we're missing is some Tyrande and Malfurion.

I'm all for giving her another chance, but I'm really wary of Blizzard's writing and I really don't wanna end up with another Garrosh incident. There's very few likeable characters left and I'm beyond worried that Metzen's gonna pop up, cause dissent, and Hitler 'em up.
I haven't really been paying that much attention to Warlords of Draenor. I leveled a character to level 100 then the appeal wore off. You guys think it's worth picking up Legion for something to do when I'm not in school?

WoD was a burn to many players including myself, so it's worth waiting it out.

I want to say Blizzard learned their lesson but we can't know for sure until Legion actually gets content patches worth my $15 a month.
I don't know, I mainly came back to WOD for the roleplay communuity and the guild I was in split up due to different leadership. Wyrmrest is so hard to find a good guild on.
I don't know, I mainly came back to WOD for the roleplay communuity and the guild I was in split up due to different leadership. Wyrmrest is so hard to find a good guild on.
Horde or ally?
After all this time I finally started levelling a Deathknight. I did play through the starting zone back when they were introduced in WoTLK but it felt kind of shitty and boring so I didn't play any further. This time around it's actually pretty fun.
And imagine how cool it would be if you could see your alts just sitting in your garrison when you're on a different character.
That would be so fucking weird and cool at the same time. Reminds me of the time I was disconnected from my Hunter, and when I logged into my main I was able to see him standing right next to me. [t]http://i.imgur.com/fHjpHfY.png[/t]

Maybe try a different server
What if Legion really is World of Warcraft's last expansion and, some months after the end, Blizzard moves onto its next Warcraft project and WoW becomes free to play (all expansions included) to all like a fucking huge mass party?
Server communities is what kept me playing this game TBC through early Cata, and with them all but gone there isn't much a point playing anymore sadly.
I don't really know why everyone's saying this'll be WoW's last expansion. Despite the sub drops there's still enough people playing for Blizz to justify keeping it running as long as they can.
1) It's strongly implied that the last boss of the expansion is going to be Sargeras, who is the main antagonist of the entire setting
Where? I've seen no mention of Sargeras or anything that could be hinting at Sargaeras. They also said last Blizzcon that they're already working on the storylines for multiple expansions ahead. So if we do see Sargeras this xpac, that doesn't mean we'll kill him.

The tomb of Sargeras has been reopened, and the demons of the Burning Legion pour into Azeroth. Because let's face it, if he does appear he's probably going to wreck us.
'Ey lads quick question, what is 6.2 like content wise? I haven't played WoW since early 6.1 because I got sick of the expansion. I need something to do to pass the time and I was wondering if it's worth re-subbing or not.

Garrisons were a let-down, apexis dailies were kind of a waste of time, and PVP was horrible (Though, I did like how with how derp ashran was at first you could get a full set of honour gear in like an hour or two, made alts super easy).
'Ey lads quick question, what is 6.2 like content wise? I haven't played WoW since early 6.1 because I got sick of the expansion. With tanaan you can gear up incredibly fast if you're interested in raiding HFC.
That to me just says our goal is to stop them before he is summoned. The main issue I can see with wow's design is the inherent problem trying to continue long term development with gear and leveling being central to progression before trying to level new characters becomes too much of a chore. The story can be fixed if they stop confining us to the same old setting and try and introduce/develop some new interesting characters without relying on familiar faces. Besides, Sargeras winning would mean Azerothian old gods get freed, and I am not sure that any party would smile on that except the old gods themselves.
