I boosted a mage and played Arcane, I felt like a stationary tower throwing nuclear bombs. Everyone was shitting themselves over Frost, but when I tried it I felt like I was playing a flashy spec that threw around a lot of glitter.
So I decided to do Archimonde on LFR just to finish the very last quest of the legendary questline. My God, it was terrible. He has the exact same abilities he does on normal and heroic, he actually hits fairly hard, and everything is as chaotic as you'd expect it to be. Now I'm not complaining about that. It was refreshing to fight a boss on LFR that was actually somewhat challenging. My complaint goes towards the other people who were utter idiots, even after I explained every bit of the fight. We ended up getting 5 stacks of Determination before we finished him. [editline]26th August 2015[/editline] Oh yeah, also got my legendary ring at last.
I got 7 stacks of determination before finally killing him :) it changed me
How are they? Because i see their specs and fury looks hilarious, swinging around twin two-handers.
They're perfect if you like big numbers with execute. At least now when Arms is the standard spec in most fights. Also bladestorm. [editline]26th August 2015[/editline]
Maybe it's a just luck, but I've never seen a pug warrior do much over 26k.
There's the problem.
Beyond class, i'm also trying to truly decide on a faction. Alliance has fancy factor, but Horde has more interesting races (to me anyway).
Make a toon for each faction. For horde, might I reccomend a Goblin, they are fun to play.
I've never noticed this, but holy cow on my plate the female Blood Elves actually have no sitting animation. They sit, and then they totally freeze. No breathing or blinking. That's wild. Every other race sits fine. This just me?
My guild is still between trying to do Kilrogg with 10 people or invite pugs for better scaling, but having people herpaderp into the heartseeker.

Well now i'm down to either Paladin (Which would be Retribution, though the second spec slot allows another role) and Warlock. I can't decide which one to focus on, both are fun to me. The other will probably be leveled up when the main is done.
[t]http://i.imgur.com/MruyXm8.jpg[/t] Made my first healer, and my first Troll. Went Priest and have been enjoying it so far; healing is so different than tanking. Fresh spin on things.
Well, decided to see how Priest was actually, and sweet holy mother discipline is amazing, even at level 20. I don't think i've seen a single person go under 80% while i've been nearby.
Don't make the same mistake I made and lvl Holy
arcane is really boring though
I dunno, I don't mind it nowadays. Old-school arcane was horrible but I think the arcane of today is much more improved, it's actually possible to fuck up and stuff. Though I still prefer frost, I get giddy with joy when I throw out a really good frost orb and can't cast ice lances fast enough to get rid of all the procs that come in
Yeah Disc priest is crazy while levelling, you can just spend all your time doing damage and you'll top that and also keep everyone healed.
Don't rely on atonement too much when leveling, you need to be able to also use your spells wisely. Atonement is greatly reduced when you hit level cap. The name of the game during raiding is shields on EVERYTHING.
Imma start a discussion because I want to talk about my feelings on the next Expac. I'm kinda excited for it. I like the idea of class identity with halls filled with memorable characters, I love the idea of having the legendary weapons of Warcraft in your hands and in different variations. I'm kinda meh on the idea of [sp]Illidan coming back[/sp] But to me this feels like a new "WoTLK". Bear with me on that last bit. WoTLK's big thing was letting you play as a freed Death Knight, so players could feel like Arthas. Now were at Legion with players becoming Demon Hunters so players can feel like Illidan. Only problem I see with that idea is that the whole point of Legion is stopping the Burning Legion from ressurecting, recreating, awakening, rewhatever Sargeras and dooming the world. And Illidan is somewhere in all of this, probably as a major commander of the whole thing. I just hope they put as much raw epicness and build up into the final raid battle against Illidan as they did with The Lich King. So what are your feelings guys?

He's gonna turn on the Legion and fight on our side, probably after Tyrande gets killed or something.
Disc Priest leveling is about on par with Hunter Leveling for me. Super fun and easy as shit. Just pop a shield spam smite & holy fire/solace with the odd penance now and again and you're completely fine. Also Disc Priests are so fucking fun in leveling PvP especially Arathi Basin when you jump off the high point, levitate down to the Mines from Lumber Mill and save the day.

But I honestly don't think enough people remembered playing Chen Stormstout in WC3 to care when he showed up in MoP, and people sure as fuck didn't care about meeting Durotan (THRALL'S DAD HOLY SHIT), Yrel was pretty cool though (Muh Waifu). I didn't play WotLK on release, I only picked up WoW again after quitting during BC when MoP came out. And I loved Northrend, it was like a huge callback to the Human Campaign and the Frozen Throne (aside from the godawful retcons) and Blizzard have been trying to replicate it ever since, trying to bottle the lightning so to speak. I don't doubt that Legion will be fun and enjoyable, but I don't think they can make another WotLK, even if Dalaran is the city again.
I want something as cool as the Icecrown Gates questline again It felt legitimately big and important and I feel as far as mmos go wow does scale really badly normally
Every reset, blizz is changing mounts avaiability near the pvp vendors in ashran. Just pick one thing already. One week you are allowed to have mounts next to them, the other week you get dismounted if you're too close. What the hell are they doing.

It was this crazy cool expansion with arguably the best and most beautiful zones ever, having the best neutral city they've ever created, while following up on Warcraft 3: The Frozen Throne and all of the Scourge story stuff in Vanilla. It also started to introduce and expand upon some new lore like the Titans and how the races originated with the curse of the flesh. They can't really replicate that feeling of playing an entire expansion and knowing at the end you're going to fight Arthas. He was pretty much one of the only villains everyone was at least partially invested in and we took him out in their 2nd expansion. No one really cared about Deathwing or the Sha, and WOD's story was way too twisty turny for me to care enough about what was happening.

I was about to pay for a level 90 boost from Blizzard but then I realized how expensive it is for what you're getting. You're paying the same amount of money as the expansion cost to do the same content over. My new plan is too make a new account and RAF it, then on my laptop make my new account follow my main account and level characters from 1-11 (Takes around 30 minutes with x3 XP). That should grant me 5 levels and I could easily do it in a day of constant grinding. Am I crazy?
