The blood elf starting zone is pretty good still I think, it's nice and simple.
I've only ever tried leveling a BE during the BC launch. I didn't make it far, but the Ghostlands looked cool as hell.
Well i tried out all the different choices, and ended up going Blood Elf!
Gonna probably get flak for choosing that, but damnit i can't handle that fabulous visage. Eventually planning on alts of other races, for sure though. Maybe an Undead Priest.
You are doomed to live with your mistake of not choosing a goblin.
No love for Taurens ;_;
No love for Taurens ;_;
I liked the Native American culture they got going, but something about playing as them just didn't click with me.
Trolls clicked, Orcs clicked, Belves clicked, Undead clicked, Goblins Amazingly clicked, Taurens didn't really click.
If I wanted to play as a cow I would play farm simulator or something. :pwn:
My main is a Tauren and I loved their starting area way back in 07, can't say what it's like now (if it's changed at all). I think my all time favorite area though is Tirisfal Glades, I love that spooky vibe and it makes me wish Gilneas would open up for us all.
I wish Taurens first mount was still plainswalking
No love for Taurens ;_;
Everybody loves Taurens, they're like universally one of the most favored races.

DROPPED ON THE FIRST TRY! FUCK!
Still waiting for Ashes though for like fucking years.
you little fucker
These ultra-rare drops and people farming the for years kinda make me wish there was a pseudo-random generator for the drops.
Seems unfair that some guy who's all "eh let's try" has the same chance of getting it than a guy who does it weekly for years.

Helps to have lots of max level characters to park outside the raid, you can do a thing with raid lockouts that makes it so you can skip the whole raid except for yoggy or whatever boss you're after.
I was farming Ashes on 4 or 5 characters a week before it dropped for me.
Thanks to the scaling it's easier to get the drake from Ulduar on 25 man than it is on 10 man. Even with no clothes on and only a crappy green Ulduar drop I still one shot those iron dwarves you need the dragon to kill with divine storm.
I'm transmogging my Rogue's conquest gear to the Deathmantle set. What daggers should I take?

I'm also going to be making this armor for comic con London

You must be a Blood elf.
New models ruined the tauren male for me. It's too goofy now.
It's actually the only one of the new models I think they did badly.

The Tauren are already kinda goofy, being Native American Cow people and all.
This is how i see it.
Trolls - Alright, pretty cool. Decent animations and design
Orcs - A bit too small, but decent design and harsh running animation
Taurens - Big and awesome, good animations apart from the casting animation could be made better, doesn't suit it. Also mounting makes it way too tall and you can barely fit through doors.
Goblins - Too small and runs stupid.
Belfs - Eugh, completely over used, fake alliance, stupidly flamboyant.
Pandarens - Meh.
You must be a Blood elf.
No I have alliance chars that I play on.
I do have some hordies on other realms that I play on when I get bored and they may or may not be Blood Elves.
I was farming Ashes on 4 or 5 characters a week before it dropped for me.
So was I, did it with 6 characters every week until it finally dropped for me, took about 3 months to get it and got the onyxian drake the same week. Some people just have good luck.

What about Undead HMMMM?

Well, getting the set was fun. Too bad I still suck at destruction.

Have my own list of describing the races of Azeroth.
Alliance:
Human: Boring, kinda racist, but decent enough as well. Tirion be my broski.
Dwarf: My personal favorite the Alliance, stout drinking men with guns and hammers and a beautiful sense of humor.
Gnome: Small and Annoying, the inner steampunk nerd loves the hell outta them for their science and talents, I really wish Gelbin got some more spotlight in a story.
Draenei: Also a favorite of mine, they have calm and comforting personalites and chivalrous voices to fight demons with.
Worgen: I love the Gilneans for their Victorian fluff, but playing as a Worgen is pointless to me, Guns, Magic, Swords? You're a freakin Werewolf. I wish I could just play as a Gilnean human for their british accents and Victorian flairs.
Horde:
Orcs: They're meh to play, but I love their story and playing as a Warlock since Gul'Dan made it look awesome.
Troll: I used to not like them until recently with Vol'Jin. He's really made me love the Trolls for being badass Jamacian sounding warriors and Shamans. I hope Vol'Jin becomes the new Thrall since I really am warming up to his character.
Undead: Not a favorite of mine, Either you play as Warlock, Priest, or Rogue as the typical Undead, any other class just feels weird.
Tauren: Not a fan of Cow People, their humps weird me out since I feel like the head should be on top of it.
Blood Elves: Kinda meh, they're just uninteresting to me in general.
Goblins: The Dwarves of the Horde to me, as the one race I will always love playing as, for their racials and for their personalities.
Neutral:
Pandaren: I love the chinese art direction and such, and Pandaren culture.
Dwarf: The better Gnome
Gnome: The better Goblin
Goblin: Green men responsible for 9/11

Seaforium can't melt mithril beams.
Theramore was an inside job. :tinfoil:

What about Night Elves?
Alliance:
Human = Every man is an everyman... man.
Dwarf = Dark irons and fortresses.
Gnome = Why not just be a Goblin?
Night Elves = Not really into the whole druidic/nature thing. Illidan gets a pass I guess.
Draenei = Mixed. Architecture is boring (crystals anyone?), lore about Argus is fascinating.
Worgen = Make cool warlocks. That's about it.
Horde:
Orcs = You see them everywhere. I am kind of tired of that.
Troll = Ancient Empires? Interesting. Voodoo vibes? Eh...
Undead = Close tie with Goblins. I love almost everything about them.
Tauren = I have no real interest or love for them, to be honest.
Blood Elves = Only seem added to include a human-like race to the Horde.
Goblins = 11/10 they're okay.
Neutral:
Pandaren = I really cannot stand them. Their attack soundboard is the WORST. JUST SHUT UP ALREADY.

What are they without the sky.. :(
(That's my Druid flying while doing a Quest in Arak that makes you a cursed Arakkoa for getting an item)
