Uhm, does this mean universal tier sets for each armor class?
That's hella stupid. Was the whole point of increasing the size of the team to shit out expansions faster? Or do they just go to work and collect their paychecks?
still no fixed stormwind park, for fucks sake give me access to the tools and i'll do it myself for free, jesus blizzard
Varian is ordering people to make more statues of him
The sewer class hall for Rogues looks great, not really like a sewer at all. It will have treasure chests.
Sounds like there wasn't enough rioting.
No big update is planned for the Moonkin model, maybe some small tweaks.
Moonkin get shafted again.
Moonkin get shafted again.
Nope, they will get updated model.
Varian is ordering people to make more statues of him
The Statue District. Watch your head, the chins are a hanging hazard.
One can hope they don't completely skimp on the Warlocks getting their personal Legion World to work with. What with Rogues getting thrown under Dalaran despite the, from what i saw, pretty vocal backlash.

Bah, I'm not getting the upgrade lens mission for the camera. It's the only reason I'm checking the garrison.

Any Europeans wanna send me a RaF? Wanna make an EU account for the future so yeah. Send me a pmedit: someone did. I'm surprised EU servers don't have name randomizer available.
Nope, they will get updated model.
I still hope they get a way to not have to use glyph of the stars or moonkin form. Just have the thing floating over your head and maybe some minor effects with a different glyph, it'd be nice to xmog.
I'm surprised EU servers don't have name randomizer available.
Shit, that would suck. That would add at least an hour to making each character.
That would add at least an hour to making each character.
Welcome to my world.
I've given up trying to name my characters cool names. Called my recent character "Mudbutt" because i had the shits at the time.
i have a question if a banshee possesses a living being, wouldn't the banshee be said living being now, with the ability to eat and drink and be hungry and all? lore says that a banshee replaces its targets soul with her own if she possesses something, but it wasn't said that it would kill the living being in the process to make them undead in turn thoughts???
so i got bored and made an alt on bleeding hollow and soon after got a 3 hour ban :downs: ive seen people with worse names who havent been banned though..which is sorta weird
Uhm, does this mean universal tier sets for each armor class?
Uggghhrr, its this kind of shit that lets me know blizz still just doesn't get it. They are creating class specific bases to help foster class identity but at the same time making all same armor classes look the same so they can devote time to the artstyle of a weapon everyone is going to have? What

My old account i used to have the name Ramsay and the Chef title. So i was called Chef Ramsay. I was pretty popular with that name. Also tried to get Sanji from One Piece but that was taken :(

Maybe the entire population of Goldshire are actually banshees and we don't know it.
Uggghhrr, its this kind of shit that lets me know blizz still just doesn't get it. I wish they would just stick to the concepts that worked in the past and design the content around that.

I hate just sitting here going "they don't know what they are doing", because its easy for me too say that when I don't have any idea of what goes into the process of making an expansion for a game like WoW and I know everyone bitches about every little thing. But holy shit Blizzard just doesn't fucking get it. How do disconnected from the community do you have to be to make "artifact weapons", something no one asked for or really gives a shit about now, one of the main selling points of your expansion. Its a fucking gimmick that's going to be treated like every other piece of gear.
I think Blizzard has dug themselves into a hole. They obviously need more than a year or two to develop an expansion with the amount of content it needs to be good, if this "We can't make unique armor sets because all of our time is going to the artifact shit" and "Oh man we had to cut that to make a raid tier" stuff is true. But taking that amount of time to make an expansion leaves us with fucking year-long raid tiers and massive content droughts. I think they need to hire a massive amount of more people or something, because they are clearly not able to do anything in a satisfactory manner, whether it be releasing expansions in a timely fashion or releasing the expansions with a full set of features that are actually fleshed-out. It really feels like they're trying to do one or the other, but either way they do it results in something incredibly shitty. Year-long content droughts or shitty half-finished filler expansions.
I don't know. To me, the whole faster expansions thing just stinks of upper management, corporate meddling. Either that or key people in the development team are a bunch of goofs. It's probably a bit of both.
$50/50€ for a level boost again im p sure thats what they're going for wasnt mop like 36€

I think the reason they are putting out less content is because WoW has become much more harder to update. This is mainly due to how complicated the game has become compared to vanilla. All these complicated quests compared to kill X and collect X like 90% of the quests in vanilla, all this phasing, all the boss tactics etc etc... A new engine could solve some of these issues but then again, i feel like at this point the direction WoW is moving, it should just become a single player RPG or something. They focus too much on trying to tell an "epic story". And for that, they sacrafice player interaction, gameplay elements and more. The whole game just became too focused on the story. Compared to vanilla when there was just a loose story that was told trough the handful of quests, zones and NPCs that were in the game. Now we have these cinematics, solo scenarios and objective based quests and gameplay that you can just solo. Your character is not some random nameless adventurers anymore, they are special. But so is everyone elses character. And when everyone else is, then nobody is. All this just doesn't really fit an MMO and more like a single player RPG.

Imagine you want the ring, or the cloak from MoP, you had to grind entirely. Now I can possibly understand this, it's a legendary item that puts in work for a good reward (Cloak was better because it intertwined with the story line.) But. You had to grind it. What about Artifacts, how will they inevitably do anything? Would you like to be railroaded and forced to grind if you wanted to do more DPS? Instead of having the choice of crafting new things and doing dungeons & raids? I feel that they're going to be putting Artifacts entirely behind the grinding to try to keep people in the game longer. Because they know their bleeding subs quickly because people aren't inspired with the game at all. And who would be? DeEz said:
I don't know.
Blizzard was handed over to Activision, Activision is a majority shareholder and controls Blizzard. Activision doesn't have a record of keeping it's gaming companies on good terms, they have done shady and underhanded things to milk more money. I do believe that you could see how things are going by looking at the developer's eyes when they do anything. When Ion (and even Tom) were doing WoD they were relatively peppy and talked to people, got really ground-to-ground, however at the end of (EDIT: Gamereactor interview not Gamescom) it feels like most of them are just tired, not necessarily from Gamescom but rather of the thought of heading back to Blizzard's Headquarters.
