That's kind of the problem, I thought the whole garrison mechanic was received pretty negatively overall and the larger than normal drop in sub numbers after release should reflect that.
This is assuming that Blizzard actually pay attention to stuff like that.

They pay attention to the number of subs dropping, not to what is causing it. As I said before in this thread, they looked at warlords sub drop and said " lets make a main point of this exp something that no one asked for and very few are existed about"

I'm not. I'm also not interested in keep 1 weapon through the entire xpac.
I think I'm going to like the next expansion, I just don't think it really has much of a selling point.
Legion is their last chance to win me over and make me stay with the game. Considering the massive story elements surrounding it if they fuck it up, I'm done. FFXIV will be getting 100% of my attention instead.
I can't see it being too terrible, honestly. But you have to forgive my sceptic mindset considering the state of Warlords.
If they have a lot of end game content and not a shit load of dailies because nobody likes them then I'll keep my sub active.

I'm interested in those abilities/perks you unlock over time with them. If done right, it might actually give something to do. Kind of like in BC where you had something to be doing for quite awhile after level capping that wasn't just getting gear. I just wish they weren't attached to such lore-heavy weapons. I also wish they'd change their mind about making it not alt-friendly, it should be alt-friendly. Raising alts is one of the biggest things that makes me maintain my sub.
Also people did really want player housing (IIRC the old suggestions forum had threads all the time), it's just that garrisons weren't what they had in mind. They expected to be able to actually customize it, rather than having a cookie cutter base that plays like a facebook game.
I've just got back into the game, is it worth (read - enjoyable) leveling through Pandaria or should I just skip straight past it using the boost from WoD? level 85 currently

I enjoyed following the story until I bumped into gankers in the neutral areas of Pandaria, then afterward it was same old "focus on leveling to 90 so I could get caught up". Sort of thing.
Finally got all the Brewfest achievements done, time to create a Monk to celebrate the new title! :joy:

Last time i got banned from a private server they replied to my appeal with "You have to pay 25$ to have your account unbanned"

I lashed out against an ex-admin and his buttbuddy. The ex-admin decided to make a snazzy remark and his buttbuddy, an active admin, forum-banned me for making a joke that he can't take because he's a stockholmer.
Then I went on a rage-spree and got permanently banned for "cancer".

The only good privateserver I have ever been on is Nostralius.
I used to play on some privateservers back during BC when I was new in order to get a level 70 rogue because I was so amazed how cool they were.
so the "super stupid" reason you got banned was because you made fun of an ex-admin and an active admin, and then when you were forum banned you were an asshole in-game for no reason and then got permabanned

No, I didn't make fun of them. I was insulted by an ex-admin who retured because he was too lazy to care about the server and retaliated. I got angry, yes, but why would you permanently ban a person for insulting someone back? Other people on the same server were banned for a week instead.
