So, my only experience from WoW comes from private servers that are running WotLK because I didn't have money at the time and my friends were playing there. I only got to 80 once and never raided (quit the game soon after because other occupations). Is it worth subbing now and starting over? Not planning on buying any expansion because they are too expensive and I have heard that blizz puts the expansion packs for free when a new one comes.
Also, what are the best/less tedious classes to level up for PvE right now? Thanks

I just did Deadmines and got carried the entire way and I'm the tank. I didn't even touch a single button besides to move.

Eh, there is a good reason to play now and that is money. The current expansion is an absolute gold printer which I highly doubt blizzard is planning on letting that continue into legion.
But if you're interested in raiding/pvp right now, might wanna wait.

It's so easy to even solo when you're at that level, I usually run a character through there and since I'm alone I get insane exp.

Heres a simple summary:
- the expansions are never free, just in a bundle for about £10/$15 for most of them when a new expansions comes out, but the current one will still be about double the price of the bundle even when Legion comes out.
- you cannot level any higher than 60 without any expansions.
- easiest class to play that does relatively decent damage is hunter or if you like melee, go pala (needs BC expansion).
- WoW is A LOT easier now after WotLK, you will level A LOT quicker.

I'm loving shadow priest too much.
I boosted a priest and lvled it through Warlords lfr and some heroic/normal raids. Stopped playing it long ago which was I believe around the time I lvl'd a warrior which is pretty fun
got on top of hellfire citadel without flying :v:

I have problems when I use ElvUI mainly it being way too small and I can't really bind stuff to my mouse since I use the extra buttons to control media.
You don't need addons besides things like DBM, and things like skada/details and masterplan.
But yeah bind some keys, a slow keybinder > a fast clicker.
Also no need to use your mouse for binds. You can unbind useless keys like r c z x, and use shift modifiers like shift-1, and f1-f6 keys for stuff you never press. Though really anything works if you're comfortable, some freaks play with the numpad for example.
I really wish they made Unholy into a caster plate spec that worked around necromancy/1st generation DK vibe:
Similar dots to a Shadow Priest/Warlock, undead pets with the ability to tame others (banshees/abominations), Wild Imps like spell that summons skeletons/ghouls during combat etc. The ability to use a stave would have really set them apart:
