Never even seen it go that high in trade chat. That's twice the minimum in fact.
I lucked out on my Sandstone Drake; managed to score someone in trade selling it for 22k. Couldn't believe my luck.

I've been levelling a few characters recently, and Burning Crusade dungeons hold a new dread for me. I think the re-arranging of numbers in WoD did something, or if there's been a patch .. or something, but Classic dungeons are a breeze. Pull two mobs, three, four, as long as the healer's on-board and competent and the tank not made out of paper, everything is a-okay
Then come BC dungeons, and holy jesus, nine times out of ten pulling anything but one mob at a time spells almost certain death. Or maybe i've just had consistently bad teams, but since WoD, BC dungeons seem a lot more difficult than before.

As you said, it really depends on how competent both healer and tank is. I leveled almost exclusively through Outland by doing dungeons and only got into a bad group two or three times; in the good, or at least decent, groups, the tank usually didn't have any problem pulling as many as ten mobs without dying, so long as he didn't go too far ahead of the healer.. It seems you've just been incredibly unlucky.

They didn't really have a chance to polish the Launcher's backend support for the new file system. There was kind of a rush on it. Limit is not working here either.

The way it works is that some parts of the new system adhere to the download limit, but sometimes when downloading certain other files it completely and utterly ignores it. They only resolved some downloading/indexing issues recently, but sadly some of the issues from launch still remain.

alright so I decided to try prot warrior and I am having a pretty serious issue with threat in silver pg
the npc in the middle, yeah she does almost triple my threat
using ravager, glyphed thunder clap, shockwave/roar AND bladestorm is not enough to pick up the adds, and mocking banner is on a 3 min CD so obviously I am gonna have to pick up adds without it most of the time
now, I am in ~670 DPS gear, and as such I have 0 bonus armor (which would add a little to my AP), but I feel like that can't be the only reason I am having this much trouble

Have you checked that you're actually in defensive stance?
If that's not the issue, the issue is that one of the mobs, when pushing you away, loses all threat on you and you must quickly taunt us. If that isn't the issue either, then I'm not sure.

Well, it's finally done.
Transferred my main from Lightbringer to Thrall, to join some friends. The reason for the transfer was that the Lightbringer server was incredibly Alliance dominated; Orgrimmar would be totally barren during most of the day. What really mattered though, was the silent passing of the guild. It quietly dissolved away until only a few of us were still around. It was the only guild I had joined on my main. Good folks there, and many good experiences were had. But all things pass, and the time to move on is now. Farewell Lightbringer, a great, tight knit, if not small community you had. May the remaining Horde there valiantly continue the fight in our stead.

Having the same problem here, lad. I'm hoping to transfer my orc warrior from Garona to either Thrall or Wyrmrest.
I feel the need to throw my lot with Thrall, since that's where I am. It'd be a blast to play with another Facepuncher.
I have like three Alliance characters on Wyrmrest, but none on Horde, so I can't really comment about the Horde side.
I re-upped my sub and have gone up almost 10 iLvl just today :v: Going to run out of steam eventually.
