executions are no longer in order for any of you who play them
Wow... I never thought I'd live to see the day.

Literally highest form of flattery for whoever worked on the male belf model.
The male ones do look great though, much closer to what i thought they would look like in WC3. Shame they didn't fix the floaty shoulders.
I really like them as well, specifically the males, they're got a more mature crazy magic look to them.
They finally look pretty fuckin' regal in mage tier armours.

It's enough to make me reconsider re-rolling from fembelf

My biggest gripe with the new Blood Elf models is that they all seem really, really angry and annoyed.
You'd be pretty pissed off and annoyed if you were a Blood Elf.
I just started playing and got lost in Orgrimmar, lol

Pretty much this.

This is the face that was the least pissed off to start with, too. New models are still great though.
See what annoys me is her lower lip and nose have lost how angular they are, but the males it's not the case.
I think AngryOrc summed up the new blood elves fantastically:

GREAT. NOW THEY ARE GONNA BE EVEN MORE BEAUTIFUL!
What heirlooms are you supposed to use as a holy paladin for dungeonspamming?
Valor/Might ones don't seem to scale with spec.
I think these guys need a bit of an update too, Blizzard.

Look a liiiittle out of place
So what do heirlooms do exactly? Never had one before
I've owned WoW since BC and I'm still terrible at understanding the game mechanics

they're basically items you buy that has no maintenence cost and scales with the character. before the update, they were just account-wide...by mailing through realms (now they have an actual Collection tab to generate previously bought ones for free anywhere). the original benefit was that some items granted bonus XP from regular methods and questing. (Helmets, Pants, Capes, Shoulders, Body, ect) the trinkets can be Used, weapons on the other hand just stays useful as you level.
They only added necklaces that heals the character once you use them whilst equipped. other than that, there's the Dread Pirate Ring but its from winning first place in a fishing contest; it's the only ring in the game with an XP boost.
Heirlooms bought now only last til level 60, but can be upgraded twice to 90 then 100.
Heirlooms bought before the update are auto upgraded to 90.

This is the case if you had the heirlooms up to 85 before the patch hit, if I remember correctly. The new system is still amazing.
grrr buying heirlooms made me broke
i need to run through firelands again

Its taking me every inch of willpower not to make my 68k dissapear on upgrading all of em.
Battle.net down for anyone else ?
Is this a 6.1 easter-egg or something, both me and my gf heard this when doing Onyxia for fun, constantly saying phrases from that Wipe Club guy...

edit: guess it's a dbm setting, but I have never heard it prior to updating my DBM for 6.1 :v:

Even the level 80 heirlooms were upgraded, it would be pretty shitty to log in and find your heirlooms now scale 20 lower than what you bought.
is there like a way to earn game time instead of spending 15 dollars a month on a ten year old game?
I mean this in the best possible way, I really want to play it, its just damn.

u must sacrifice ur wallet monthly for blizzard
I was introduced to Blizzard's new Battle.net around 8-ish months ago (I played the original Diablo when I was young, but that doesn't really count), and I think I've spent like 250$ on Blizzard games. It's kinda nuts.
Does anyone know of a good way to make some quick gold (relatively speaking)? And a lot of it?

powerlevel a pally/warrior/dk and do the shadowmourne line, sell the reward
So I'm having trouble getting in to my character, the loading screen gets to 90% and then it freezes, then I get kicked back to character select with a pop-up "Character Not Found".

I caved in and bought the game
currently level 21
no thanks I'd rather have a raid tier than updated guard models for shivermoon city
