Goblins for prettiest race in existence. *sploosh*
I wonder if they'll update the Worgen and Goblin models as well. I feel like the Goblin models don't really need an update, but I feel like it'll eventually happen anyway.
Agreed. Kinda sucks having one of the more outdated models now. While they don't look bad, I'd love see them get a touch up just to be on par. Don't think it'll happen any time soon though.

I feel like a shitty goblin for asking, but how does one make money? Like shit, I'm trying to make a Sky Golem and the 30 Living Steel I need goes for 270g a piece. Here I am with only 1.5k to my name...

Getting short-term gold is fairly easy. Just run old raids and dungeons and you'll quickly accumulate a couple thousand gold.
Wildstar had a great setting, a great combat system, a great style, a great selection of zones, fun quests, really a lot of great fundamentals. It was just a handful of major mistakes that brought it down. The biggest flaw is they took the word of all the people saying "WE WANT THE OLD SCHOOL WOW EXPERIENCE BACK" and then as it turned out, nobody really wanted it. They tried to appeal to the hardcore MMO audience, but the hardcore MMO audience is already invested in their MMOs of choice. They needed a way to make their own dedicated hardcore audience, but failed to facilitate it. It had little-to-no appeal to the casual audience, and they're really the first step to making invested players. Without them they had only a very tenuous audience left: The few people that jumped ship from big MMOs like WoW or lapsed MMO players that wanted to play "THE NEXT BIG THING", but people like that have a history of dropping it shortly after... and look what happened. Everyone I knew who played it were either WoW players or people who were MMO players that wanted to get back into it. But none of them found enough of a reason to commit to Wildstar and either went back to WoW or, in some cases, nothing. Such a shame, I wanted that game to be great. I just couldn't bring myself to keep playing. Felt bad when I cancelled my sub considering how much hype I had for it and how much I enjoyed the betas and the early game... How much I loved the setting and the style... I always hoped they'd go F2P, I mean SWTOR did and things only went uphill for them since, but seems like they're either not in a position where they feasibly can, or are just too stubborn to do it. I don't know which is worse.
Wildstar had like fucking insane requirements just too do anything, like raids. If they responded to the criticism early on and handled it gracefully, I think they really would have come out strong. Instead they doubled down on what they where doing, which I don't understand.
In Gorgrond now, ho ho look at the size of this. [t]http://i.imgur.com/b8Yj6mD.jpg[/t] I wonder if I'll see anything like that while it's still alive.
Ultraxion's about that size, I think
Hey guys, i need an advice. Which prof is better for getting gold? I got blacksmith and mining, but mining is not that useful now.
Anyone know why my computer makes noise only during playing WoW? I believe some call it a coil whine. It only happens when playing WoW, I made sure that my FPS is capped at 60 in both the foreground and background, but that didn't really help. I notice if I look at the sky, the noise stops. If I look back at the landscape it goes back to making noise. [editline]3rd March 2015[/editline] Well, it's quiet now. I think it must have been linked to the projected texture setting. I turned it off and it suddenly went quiet.
At any rate, I feel like I fucked up. I leveled through Kalimdor+EC and BC and then boosted past WOTLK, CATA, and MOP... and now I feel like I irreparably screwed over my first WoW experience. I realize now that I missed out on a lot of stuff that I can't really go back to. I got to WOD content and didn't have the same drive I did before. I felt like I didn't earn it... I guess because I didn't. :c Should I feel bad or am I just getting myself down over nothing?
If you feel like experiencing it, do it again. Nothing wrong with making another character. And that content is all really good (except Cataclysm, Uldum is the only zone really worth it.)
Looking back, the Burning Crusade, Wrath of the Lich King, and Mists of Pandaria were all so freaking good, probably my favorites. Cataclysm was overall less impressive than the other expansions, but I really loved the dungeons/raids from Cataclysm. Throne of Tides, the Firelands, etc. Great music too.
I do love the reworks that Cata did to the old zones. Post-Cata Thousand Needles is my favorite zone in the game. Also, Cata gave Goblins, so that's a plus.

cata was the best xpac because we finally got to give deathwing a pedicure and frankly i've been waiting to open a nail salon in wow for years

Me and a couple of friends tried to do DS but couldn't finish it because of that fucking mechanic on Spine.
I was going to solo it on LFR but uhh, was having issues with Ultraxions trash :c i should've had shuriken toss.
Me and a couple of friends tried to do DS but couldn't finish it because of that fucking mechanic on Spine.
I tried to solo Dragon Soul for the mount and I keep fucking up at the Spine cause I have no clue what the fuck to do.
So, I was a little turned off by the Garrison stuff, but it's growing on me now that I wrapped up Frostfire Ridge. I feel a lot more interested in it. The lack of cosmetic customization is my biggest gripe with it. I don't really like the look of the Horde Garrison. I'd probably be more into it if I played an Orc or Troll, but playing a Goblin makes me feel out of place. I wish the Garrisons were unique depending on your race, but that'd be way too much work.
I quickly got tired of the garrison stuff after getting two characters to 100. Now I just straight up ignore the whole thing.
I tried to solo Dragon Soul for the mount and I keep fucking up at the Spine cause I have no clue what the fuck to do.
It was pretty hard to coordinate 4 people on that fight. The fight itself was pretty bs and the DJ doesn't really explain it well.
I quickly got tired of the garrison stuff after getting two characters to 100. Now I just straight up ignore the whole thing.
I wish i could ignore it, but its a massive source of gear AND income.
I tried to solo Dragon Soul for the mount and I keep fucking up at the Spine cause I have no clue what the fuck to do.
Spine is annoying as hell to solo because you have to walk from side to side every < 10 second and deadly boss mods says beware every fucking time.
Fuck finding this book to start the quest that gives warlocks green fire. It's gonna take forever to get this damn thing.
I tried to solo Dragon Soul for the mount and I keep fucking up at the Spine cause I have no clue what the fuck to do.
You basically have to go back and forth across the spine to trigger a roll and then run to the other side and trigger a roll. Repeat. If you do it right he never rolls. It's a pain but it's manageable. You can also get a tentacle down and just stay in the sticky bit and you'll be fine and you can kill the bloods, but you take a lot of damage so unless you've got a good way to self heal, don't bother.
