So hey, I'm a little confused on where the lore is right now, because there seems to be snippets of everything in there. The most odd example I've seen so far is that doing Undead stuff Garrosh Hellscream showed up as the leader of the Horde. But I thought the leader was now some guy named Vol'Jin or something. Then the Scarlet Crusade seems to be in a weird state where it kind of exists in a weakened state or it might exist under a different name or it straight up doesn't exist at all. And the wiki for all this shit seems to be out of date on a lot of things too. IDK what the fuck is happening anymore :v:

Garrosh was the former warchief. He was promoted after Thrall joined the Earthen Ring. After the Siege of Orgrimmar, Garrosh was imprisoned and brought to stand trial for [sp] war crimes, including destroying Theramore, slaughtering civilians, both Alliance and Horde, starting a civil war in Pandaria, and just being an overall fuckwit[/sp] Vol'Jin lead the Darkspear revolutionaries against Garrrosh and was promoted to Warchief by former Warchief Thrall.
They just haven't bothered with revamping the Cataclysm zones to include old Vol'Jin.
So I really like this stupid camera.

Seriously, transferring to Thrall was a fantastic choice. A bunch of Alliance scumbags were camping the crossroads so we brought a small army and started stomping their faces in. This server is been a barrel of fun so far.

As I continue to level and play more pvp with my main (orc prot warrior), I'm wondering how viable they are. My reason for asking is that I'm a real juggernaut in world pvp if we have a healer, but I feel like if I 1v1 someone I'm going to get out burst down by a DPS guy. I don't feel like I do a massive amount of damage all by myself; maybe I will later on though, I've still got three levels to 100.
I do like progressing though, I remember being pretty bad at PVP before but now I'm getting pretty good at striking quickly and making good spell rotations.

Prot is good with both damage and tanking, but if a DPS warrior like Fury or Arms plays his cards right and has a good healer, he can out-damage you.
Use gladiator stance if you want to deal more damage.
You get that at level 100 right? Does that stance make you less tanky?
My second spec is arms and I plan on turning it on and gearing for arms once I finish gearing for prot. (if that's possible, not sure how the end game in Warcraft works)

Prot is tanky but deals good damage, gladiator prot is less tanky, More sword-and-board style damage. Arms is heavy DPS, but slightly slower, while Fury does less DPS but dishes it out faster.

glad stance is level 100, gives you like 5% more defense, but your main defense abilities are turned into more offensive abilities and you cant switch stances when youre in combat

Way too large scale of a land to import, still an okay result but probably not playable. At least this game has water physics. :v:

Not viable in arena but I feel like they have a use in battlegrounds/world pvp.

Prot Warriors are godly tanks in BG and World PVP but they're not good for arena.
Go Arms for arena and spam cleave whenever possible.
I'm trying to re-install WoW right now and every few minutes an error comes up saying " There was an error transferring data. Please check your internet connection" Than I click resume on the download and it repeats the process. Has anyone had this happen before, and know of a solution for this? I don't really feel like sitting at my computer to click that message every time.

Try turning off any anti-virus programs you have. For whatever reason they tend to block data connections when you download Blizzard games.
I've found the battle.net program tends to just be a bit buggy in general for me, at least when it comes to downloading stuff like patches or games. Sometimes nothing will happen, sometimes I'll have to manually end the task and try again, etc.
Can you mail stuff to cross-faction alts?
