LFR is always a fast and easy way to get a little boost in gear before getting into raiding.
You could try doing normal raids. They're not really too bad if people know what they're doing.

it's been at least a year since i last saw a shitty chirno post about UI's, thanks [editline]2nd May 2015[/editline] "your UI is not my UI therefore it's shit"
Settel down, kids. I'm sure he would ask if he wanted criticism on his UI.

My personal favourite has always been destruction.

Maintaining dots on all the mobs and balancing that with spells that have a casting time is pretty difficult in my experience.
Man. There is no reason to go back and do heroics anymore. The tank/healing bonus bags don't drop pets or mounts, and bosses only drop like 3g now.

i personally just don't like the big honking diablo orbs but i'd just be mad about having less space for omen to cover my entire screen

I really wish I could get back into WoW but it just bores me to death now. :/ I made all my gold from gathering mindlessly as a passive relaxation time and with the whole garrison thing that is completely axed from the game, PVP is apparently really unbalanced right now, and I have a hard time getting into raiding. Blah.

I stayed unsubbed for a whopping two weeks before resubbing.. :suicide:
So I just started playing again, but this new map is completely bugged out for me. I can only right click to zoom out, left clicking brings me zoomed all the way back in to only the area i'm in. I can't use any of the drop down menus to go to any different map. For example, if I'm in Stormwind i can't zoom out and then click over to Outland and look at that map - when I left click on outland (be it in the map or from a dropdown menu) it brings me right back to the stormwind map. I haven't been able to find anyone with similar issues on google, any ideas how to fix this? The map is literally useless to me right now
Er, kind of an odd question, but does anyone have a bigger version of this image? I'll even get greedy and ask for a version without the logos and the like.. although that's stretching it, I know. [t]http://www.gamerdna.com/public/images/xd/covers/drg200/g208/g20871yupbz.jpg[/t] It's one of my favorite pieces of Warcraft artwork.. there's just something special about it.

It would be pretty useless
I'm nerdgasming a little but that image really is the shit. I love the dull color scheme used, the muted colors really give it that old and rustic feel. It fits with the Orc and Tauren as well, as they look older and ragged. The red sky and lightning in the background gives the image of almost sinister feel, even though I don't feel like the characters are meant to be threatening. It screams Horde and I love it. Say, was that the cover of the original edition of World of Warcraft? I know there's an Alliance version as well, I wonder if they sold both box art versions at the same time. A small silly part of me wants to buy boxed versions of the older games to display along side my other ones. :v: Sometimes I wish I could play the game pre-cata. I love the lore, the world itself, and I really wish I could explore it before the great cataclysm. I mean, I know I could with people inviting me to private servers, but I'm still nervous about the whole ordeal. Some people tell me its fine, some say I could lose my account.. I suppose I'll continue to play it safe, so to speak.
[t]http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/archive/9/91/20150316221206!WoW_Box_Art1.jpg[/t] There was also that Box Art which seems to be more prevalent, it's the one i have at least. Realistically you won't lose your account going on a private server, don't sweat it. If the Emerald Dream 1.0 server is still running, i'd recommend that, just so you can appreciate how aweful the game was in retrospect.
Decided to scan my manual since I didn't open it as much and it's a better resolution. https://mega.co.nz/#!aB9iXQYa!qA5UPax1UMA7K9HGT_MeQRT7Orw9yYxylLo3YO7SLdA I did spend half an hour waiting for dropbox to sync it but kept failing or something. Life is bad.

It's shooting for blizz-perfect, so it's nearly exactly as it used to be, with a couple bugs here and there.

Download around 5gb, make an account and you're ready. The game launches and you're ingame within 5 seconds. The only way I can see Blizzard actually banning people associated with (at least the one I play) private servers is if they acquire the I.P.s of every person subscribed on the forum, compare them with the I.P.s of their WoW subscribers, and then ban them. And I haven't heard of Blizzard shutting down or banning any private servers lately. As far as I'm concerned, I've bought every expansion, subscribed for at least 6 months of every year since the game came out, and I still have an active WoW subscription so Blizzard can eat my cock if I want to experience pre-cata environments and all of the great quest lines they've removed. I recommend Nostalrius, but you'd probably want a Vanilla+BC private server. I will say, Blizzard has definitely improved questing and world quality over the years, vanilla isn't the easiest pill to swallow anymore but I love how the world still feels just like Warcraft 3.

There were a few private servers which were as big as the biggest WoW servers. They were up for a few years each, and when one would get shut down (which was honestly quite rare), no one ever got banned and they would just re-host the server with everyone having their characters saved and it was like nothing happened. Unless blizzard has done a 180 since then, then they really don't care about private servers. Maybe a hundred thousand people on private servers in total is not something Blizzard is going to worry about when they have 10 million + subscribers already. [editline]5th May 2015[/editline] There's also quite a few private servers with faster leveling, custom items and classes, instant max level with best gear vendors etc. for people who just want to do raids at max gear level or arena and the like. It's quite nice
IMO Peak of Serenity and the whole northern part of Kun-Lai Summit has the best atmosphere in the game.
Holy shit I hit the jackpot. [t]http://warcraft.czechian.net/wow_wall/horde-1600x.jpg[/t]
