IMO Peak of Serenity and the whole northern part of Kun-Lai Summit has the best atmosphere in the game.
Pandaria has some of my favorite places in the entire game. Except Dread Wastes. Fuck Dread Wastes
I'm quite fond of Frostfire Ridge personally. There's just something about the combination of huge spires and vast, snowy dunes that makes it so awesome. Not to mention the pretty epic battles you go through.

So I got a mistell from a pug member in our BRF run.
Nothing more infuriating then people trying to survive as long as possible when a wipe is called.
Managed to PuG Blackhand with no one dying once. I'd call that an achievement.

To be fair, repair bills can stack pretty fast. Before my raid group finally became able to down Blast Furnace effectively, I'd wager I've spent +3k gold on that boss alone :v:
It's not entirely uncommon for me to escape the carnage with a ninja garrison hearthstone as my guildies die around me

Well WoW's lost 2.9 million subs. Couldn't be the lack of fuck all could it?
Well WoW's lost 2.9 million subs. Couldn't be the lack of fuck all could it?
Damn, I hope blizzard gets the message, I very highly doubt it though. Think about the amount of contact they put out compared to how much money the make a month.
I really want someone to ask them at Blizzcon were the fuck the majority of their team and work goes, because its clearly not being put into WoW - their money maker.
I really want someone to ask them at Blizzcon were the fuck the majority of their team and work goes, because its clearly not being put into WoW - their money maker.
The lack of content, as they said, may actually be due to having to train their new staff. As a software engineer I can tell you that this is actually thing, called Brook's law, where if you add manpower to a late software project only delays it further. In the long term (think years, starting from when the team was increased) the increased team size will be a big benefit however.
*video* Good video, explains my issues with WoD well.
A bit of nitpicking, but he brings up some good points. What I still think is really stupid is that they say they want faster expansions, because the cost of keeping up with the latest content per year is going to go up, and having to pay more for the game is the last thing we need. I also find myself not touching WoW unless it's a raid day (or we're doing alt runs or whatever), because really there isn't anything to actually do. I thought the previous expansions suffered from this problem as well, but it seems to have gotten worse, and I partly blame garrisons for that; they basically streamlined daily quests and put them on a ridiculously long timer to be completed while we sit around and do nothing (A+ game design). This wouldn't be an issue if we had garrison missions just tacked on the end of, for example, reputation grinding (classic I know), a bunch of dailies and other day-to-day stuff. But we only have campaign quests and a tiny amount of laughable dailies (kill X raid boss, hand in X of Y material, inn dailies), so yeah. Rant aside, I hope they realized where it went wrong before they started finishing up 6.2, and that we actually get some solid non-raid content back in the game, or you can bet subs are gonna come crashing down even further. [editline]7th May 2015[/editline] Also would be nice if we could get some Operation: Shieldwall/Dominance type of campaigns where the lore/overall plot actually advances.
Frankly, I find garrison stuff about as fun as any ! quest, but at least over fast enough that I can accomplish something while doing the logging in and running in circles for five minutes I did at the end of every other expansion.
The whole last month I played before I unsubbed was spent doing garrison dailies on 6 characters per day then logging off until the next day. I earned enough gold in a month to buy 2-3 months of wow time but it's so boring.
Don't worry guys, Blizzard is taking the sub losses very serious. [img_thumb]http://i.imgur.com/j28x5Vf.png[/img_thumb]
I don't think I have seen the WoW community as a whole more angry than now.
I don't think I have seen the WoW community as a whole more angry than now.
Right now it's a boiling ocean of seething rage and aimless antipathy. So about 10% angrier than normal.
Don't worry guys, Blizzard is taking the sub losses very serious. [img_thumb]http://i.imgur.com/j28x5Vf.png[/img_thumb]
Devs in the industry never fail to surprise me of how unprofessional they can be.
I don't think I have seen the WoW community as a whole more angry than now.
After all the lies, the promises they didn't keep, I think we have every right to be bitter. They dare ask 10 euro's more for WoD compared to other expansions, yet doesn't have as much content as the past few, feels rushed, and they try to defend their position with weak excuses and 'funny' jokes.
-snip fixed the issue-
Devs in the industry never fail to surprise me of how unprofessional they can be.
Do you seriously expect him to give a fully detailed business plan on how they intend to bring back subscribers right off the bat just because of an angry twitter mob? I don't blame him for making a joke like that considering all the shit people fling at them on a daily basis. Give them a few days to come up with a public announcement ffs.
I thought it was funny.

There's a time and place to try and be funny, this was not it.

Who are you to decide when someone is allowed to make a joke?

[editline]8th May 2015[/editline] Even a "we're working on it" would be better, jesus christ PR isn't rocket science. The fact that he deleted it most likely means the PR department came crashing down in panic and told him to delete it ASAP.
The PR shitstorm is dumb as fuck. The only people who are upset about it are the same people who are always upset about anything Blizzard does ever.
