The PR shitstorm is dumb as fuck. The only people who are upset about it are the same people who are always upset about anything Blizzard does ever.
Doesn't matter, Public Relations isn't a pick and choose. The better you are at it, the more people you'll be able to keep on your leash.
Personal twitter or not, as a high-ranking (relatively speaking) employee he represents the company and cracking jokes at a time where they fucked up severely and suffered huge losses comes off as not taking it seriously, which should if anything upset the shareholders more than anyone. The fact that he deleted it most likely means the PR department came crashing down in panic and told him to delete it ASAP.
What makes you think they aren't taking it seriously? I'm sure they are making changes to comming expansions and he wasn't in a position to let everybody know just what those changes are at that time perhaps? I don't think one person making one joke that takes a few seconds is a sign of a whole company not caring about people opinions.
Making changes to the coming expansions, yes they are. But not in our favor. As it stands, they're gonna release expansions quicker, at a higher price, and we get less content, most of it unfinished or dumbed down to the point it hardly reflects what was originally announced.

The company seemed to think this too which is why it's deleted now. Or he's smart enough to realize it was a stupid comment to make in the first place and took it down.

Just downloaded elvui and holy shit the elvui pixel font is a fucking sin against humanity.
Just downloaded elvui and holy shit the elvui pixel font is a fucking sin against humanity.
Seriously, I honestly don't know why it doesn't default to the standard Elvui Font or at the very least the default font
Not only is the pixel font shitty, but there's this assfont for the combat text in elvui too.
Just downloaded elvui and holy shit the elvui pixel font is a fucking sin against humanity.
I recommend you to replace all the standard wow fonts and the elvui fonts with a single font of your choice.
USE PEPSI FOR COMBAT FONT BECAUSE WHO DOESNT LIKE HUGE NUMBERS!!!!!!
I'm probably in the minority but I think SuperVillainUI is ugly as fuck.
I just stick with the default UI. Easy enough.
I've set up my own custom UI with Pitbull bartender and all those other UI addons. Is that something people don't do anymore or what? [editline]9th May 2015[/editline] The default ui is shit.

I never saw the point of custom UIs until I used one. Now I can't go back. It's like owning a multi monitor setup, you don't see the point until you actually use one.
I wonder if Blizzard will ever consider updating the default UI.
I wonder if Blizzard will ever consider updating the default UI.
It's alright as it is
I use the default with Miks Scrolling Battletext and I see no reason to change it.
I customize ElvUI a bit to set up the basic stuff like health and resources, then everything else is WeakAuras. Best addon ever.
They should remove LFR, Normal and HC is so easy to PUG anyways [editline]10th May 2015[/editline] And removing LFR would even out with dungeons getting Mythic mode
What an absolutely terrible idea. LFR is a great tool for people who don't have what it takes to get into raiding, to still get some of the content they are paying money for.

It's not like normal is hard [editline]10th May 2015[/editline]
I'm nerdgasming a little but that image really is the shit. I love the dull color scheme used, the muted colors really give it that old and rustic feel. It fits with the Orc and Tauren as well, as they look older and ragged. The red sky and lightning in the background gives the image of almost sinister feel, even though I don't feel like the characters are meant to be threatening. It screams Horde and I love it. Say, was that the cover of the original edition of World of Warcraft? I know there's an Alliance version as well, I wonder if they sold both box art versions at the same time. A small silly part of me wants to buy boxed versions of the older games to display along side my other ones. :v: Sometimes I wish I could play the game pre-cata. I love the lore, the world itself, and I really wish I could explore it before the great cataclysm. I mean, I know I could with people inviting me to private servers, but I'm still nervous about the whole ordeal. Some people tell me its fine, some say I could lose my account.. I suppose I'll continue to play it safe, so to speak.
You can't lose your account from playing on a private server. First because they wouldn't know it was the same player owning the account that played on the private server, and second because they only go after people hosting private servers. If you want to check out a vanilla wow server, I highly recommend Nostalrius, they like 4 months old and is already the most popular server. They release patches every week to fix bugs etc. They had over 6000 players on peak, at the moment theres 4250 people online.
I own at raiding fucking normies doing LFR haha scrubs delete LFR
Well there is absolutely no reason to keep it because normal exist. But I guess you havent played normal since seem to love LFR so much.
You are an elitist muppet. Yes I do play normal, our guilding is working on getting through normal. We don't raid very much so we are struggling somewhat in getting new bosses down. We only have downed 4 bosses, working on that Goren boss now. But do you honestly think it's a good idea to delete LFR all together?
No I'm not, I quit in January right before my guild was to move on to heroic. Yeah I believe so. MMO's are supposed to take time and you are ment to work for your stuff. It's become an effortless game except when it comes to mythic and maybe heroic raiding, which is why I quit.
No I'm not, I quit in January right before my guild was to move on to heroic.
So why should we care what you think? Why do you care so much about removing a feature which has absolutely no effect on you if you're not just an elitist cunt? What good will removing LFR do? The only people who use LFR are people who don't have the time to join a guild or wait around for pugs. Removing LFR does absolutely nothing except give those people even less to do before they unsub altogether.
LFR is good but i don't think all the raids should be accessible trough it. And you shouldn't be able to get the legendary drops trough it either. They need to bring back attunements to certain raids as well, and i'm not just talking about those shitty proving grounds. In MoP some bosses were removed from LFR but honestly, i think whole raids or wings of certain raids should be inaccessible in LFR. Maybe raids that don't add much to the plot itself
Yeah I'll agree the legendary questline should not be achievable through LFR. There's bugger all loot to be gained from LFR though, so I don't see anything unreasonable about having all the raids accessible to LFR. The whole point of it is to allow everyone to play the content in some way after all.
If you make certain wings or entire raids inaccesible through LFR, what's the point? Look, LFR isn't hurting you or your gameplay experience. Just because you don't play it, why shouldn't anyone else be allowed? I used LFR extensively throughout MoP, until I got the guts to try out normal and heroic in Siege of Orgrimmar. Come WoD, I've begun with a proper raiding guild, and we're just short of downing Blackhand on heroic. Yet I still do LFR with my alts and sometimes to relax. Should people who only do LFR be unable to complete legendaries? Maybe, but the game has moved far past the whole "less than 1% gets to raid!" as it was in vanilla, to a phase where it's much more inclusive and where everyone gets a chance.
I think it would make more sense for LFR to be 10man with heroic-dungeon level difficulty, it would complement the regular heroic dungeons and casual players like those who mostly did just heroics in TBC and WoTLK can experience the raids in a more satisfying way than the current LFR (which is both unchallenging and boring, and has been since it was implemented in Cataclysm).
