I'm Ulzrekki on Horde
on vanilla can I go to northshire and do the quests there as a gnome? already done the quests here on my dwarf so wouldn't mind doing a couple here and heading off to elwynn but I can't remember if the starting zones being specific to specific races is a new thing in retail wow or whether it was always like that, I'm 90% sure you could just do the quests anywhere but want to check before I walk all the way there
Name is Uzull, Orcish Shaman. [editline]31st May 2015[/editline]
man nostalrius with fpers sounds like a right laugh might have to try this
Yeah, imo that's one of the cool parts about this. One big server means FPers can finally play together. Well, together in a since that the Alliance guys are going to get killed by the Horde fellows.
Alright since you guys got me horny enough I downloaded it. No promises I will play it though. I'm 'Europop' on Alliance. Dwarf warrior.
Another facepuncher joined the Durotar Socialist Party. If you're playing Horde I'd direct you to that guild. They've got experienced players that frequently fit new players with bags and the like.
Well... got 4 characters to lvl 100. Shaman, Monk, Priest and a Mage.
Once I stop being a lazy fuck I'll level my 93 and 90 characters to 100. Probably the 93 monk first though.
I've only just reached level 5 on Nostalrius yet I've had more interesting social interactions than I've had on Retail for like weeks.
Hey simzboy it turns out I did have to finish that Shaman quests to unlock the other ones. Not like retail where cross realm shit means you can't even fully interact with players you see in game.
One of us...
My sub runs out in two days, not going to renew it. Might not even renew for 6.2. Think I might be somewhat done with WoD, fun at first but after a while I really was forcing myself to play.
Only reason why I resubbed was because I didn't really have much to do until Arkham Knight comes out.
The real question is who was there for this a few days after launch?
I hope the Orcs won.
We defeated them, but let me give you some pretext. Before this world pvp had been going on all day, but right before this we lead a disorganized team of 35 alliance straight into the barrens around the crossroads. Then 2 raids of 40 showed up and shat on our dicks. Then our spies gave us word of a westfall invasion and we defended. They wanted to go to the Barrens again and I said no way lol not again.
I was in a raid like that right after I started out on Nostalrius [editline]31st May 2015[/editline] First we thrashed South Shore, then we ran all the way to Theramore and swam under the water surface and sneaked into the blacksmith from behind and attacked them from within the city It was awesome, but they managed to push us out after a few minutes
I remember on the first night (morning for EU timezones) of Nostalrius about 6 or 7 orcs invaded the eastvale logging camp in elwynn forest and I made a raid to kill them off. Good times. [editline]31st May 2015[/editline] And all of the Hillsbrad farm raids we made to kill all of the horde. Good times too.
With all the popularity that nostalrius has gotten, I am surprised Blizzard hasn't cease and desisted them yet.
When they lose another 3m subscribers maybe they'll lay down the law.
Ehh, am I the only one that's kind of wishing WoW dies now so Blizzard finally bring out a new MMO? Hell, I'd even take an MMO that builds further on WoW but is completely revamped, maybe WildStar style.
I wonder what titan was going to be all about.
I wonder what titan was going to be all about.
Overwatch but way bigger and spanning more genres.
Jesus christ, 9000 players online on nostalrius now
I really do wonder when or if Blizzard will crack down on this server. If their subs continue to lower.. I feel like it's logical they'd send out a cease and desist. I hope not though, it's so much fun.
Depends on French laws.
Well they're not actually making money of this no? I imagine they might let it slide or just unofficially give it a nod.
Well they're not actually making money of this no? I imagine they might let it slide or just unofficially give it a nod.
I only know of like two servers that got shut down. One was a GM RP server where players could create phases and spawn their own npc's and buildings and build cities and shit in exchange for donations, and the other was a regular server which I can't remember the name of.
Well they're not actually making money of this no? I imagine they might let it slide or just unofficially give it a nod.
There's just the donation thing. We had a whole argument about this about a year ago and the consensus was that private servers are illegal due to intellectual property. That's why I'm so surprised to come back and see it encouraged.
Ingame names please
Pvtmartin on Alliance
