I just thought of something
Wouldn't it been cool if Death Knights had existed as a class in vanilla?
You'd start out in Andorhal as hated with all your usually friendly factions, and by the time you get to like level 15, you're almost Neutral with all capital factions, and then you would have do some grinding before joining your race's faction.
At level 40 you'd get a 90 silver mount, just like warlocks and paladins, and then you would have to do a long questline at level 60 to get your epic mount, you'd have to run Stratholme and shit to get your epic mount. The only races for death knights to be would be Humans, Dwarves, Orcs and Undead.
That, or you could chose to become a Death Knight if you were a paladin or a warlock at level 55 by doing a quest line
And at 60 you would look like this

Druids were shit tier in Vanilla right? Meaning I shouldn't play one on Nos? :(
They're great healers, and can tank dungeons and off-tank some raids if they have good gear.
They're shit DPS tho
I got a druid to level 9 and it was pretty painful, if you can get past level 20 it'll be a lot more fun but it's really hard getting there
After all this time I've yet to level a Druid, Rogue, Death Knight and Monk.

I've tried Rogue several times before throughout the years but always ended up removing it because it was so damn boring to play. Highest level I reached was 75 or something I think.
So everyone is playing vanilla or what? I must be the only one who hates how boring and dreadfully slow the combat is. It's just 90% autoattacking with melee

depends what class you play, and the combat gets a lot better as you get more abilities
the first 10-20 levels of a warrior is pretty shit, whereas my level 10 warlock is a lot more fun, as is my hunter
got into the realm first guild, only to find out that they are trimming down to 2 raid days instead of 4 since they already cleared this tier :suicide:

Did DM West earlier, took only like an hour, even though we died twice.
I'm suprised we cleared it that fast.

I couldn't get far in Nostalrius. There were a lot of cute nostalgic moments when I first booted up as an NElf hunter, but most of them quickly turned into nuances.
"Awww, I remember ammunition!"
"Wow, minimum range on bow/gun auto attacks!"
"Melee skills!"
"The default graphical settings remind me of when I played on my family's Dell!"
At least with Warrior, I could start auto-attacking and then alt-tab because I know I wouldn't die, but that's not very fun to me.
On the flip side im playing Retail, or have for the past hour.
Not a single person has said anything in General, it's tragic :(

I didn't want to, just playing a shaman with stuff i only get from quests, not dropped past 50% :( even using a 2h grey axe to try and make a challenge but no go.

Try playing it as priest who gets Shadow Word : Pain.
When in full Looms all you need to do is just keep smashing it and tabbing to the next target, you don't need to do any quests until you're 10.
