Decided to start leveling my 90 affliction. Affliction itself seems to deal alot of damage overall, any PvP-ers here? Pls share your thoughts.
I've been wondering, Linkuya. If you like to hang around RP servers, have you ever considered getting one of the RP mods out there?
Like which ones?

where did u check that?
Holy smokes, there seem to be four different specializations for Druids instead of three. Which ones are best/most fun? I'm leaning towards DPS/healing for the class.
Feral (melee) and Balance (ranged) is for DPS, Restoration is for healing, and Guardian is for tanking.
Restoration is in a pretty good spot at the moment, and so is Balance. Feral is kind of lame since there is very little to do at the moment; you follow the same rotation throughout the entire game, and it consists of relatively few ability combinations.
feral is great if you like to take naps because you have something ridiculous like 40% downtime
balance is great if you love pulling entire zones with starfun
i havent tried the others at 100
Only played feral, so most of my knowledge comes from friends and the forums. Restoration is apparently really good though, to the point where a lot of people call it one of the few reliable healers in Challenge Mode and heroic raids and up.

Well, there's four that I know of, all of them provide roughly the same thing. They let you describe your character beyond what the models show, as well as provide a background story and such for yourself and other players to read, and alongside talking about your own character, you can see other characters descriptions (provided they also have one of the four addons). All (I think) of the addons are compatible with each other, so there's no need to worry about you and someone else having different RP mods and not seeing each others profiles.
MRP (Or My Roleplay) is probably the most barebones, it's simple and easy to understand. Just open it up and tippy-typey your shit into the boxes and wham bam, you've got a profile to show off to other folks.
XRP is one I've had zero experience with, but it's apparently just like MRP with the added functionality of seeing crossfaction/crossrealm XRP profiles (doesn't allow for communication obviously, since that would be against the rules with crossfaction), and you can put clickable links for profiles if you're one of those people who goes the extra mile and has art of their character.
TRP2 (Total RP2) Is a bit more complicated, clunky, but in exchange for going more in-depth. In even has some GHI-like functions built in (an addon that let's you make fake items, like readable books and stuff) and the ability to make RP buffs (only visible to people with TRP 2 unfortunately). I used it briefly before TRP3 came out.
TRP3 is like TRP2, but WAY slimmed down. I'd say it's more like MRP in it's simplicity, but with the addition of custom text colors, player-made buffs (again only visible to those with TRP3 and maybe 2, I dunno because it works differently in 3), custom pages up to and including backgrounds and pictures, and it also has some options for displaying whether you're an OOC or IC member of a guild, and character permissions like if it matters to you whether your character gets killed/hurt or whatever you can just say yes or no in your profile for that stuff.
I personally prefer TRP3, but MRP is also good if you don't want to get too invested in this kind of stuff.

Enhance=Fire mage > Unholy DK > Arcane > Hunters
This will be the top DPS as soon as 6.1 and BRF hits.

Does this mean people will stop making fun of me for playing as a Fire Mage?!
Is the cataclysm blasted lands alliance quest chain any good? Or should I just crank out the last pre-BC levels running LBRS?
good thing im leveling my shammy to 100 as enhance instead of playing resto/ele again
Just started leveling my prot warrior from 90, my rotation feels so weird and empty.
anyone know of an addon that will play a sound upon ability use? asaratha and i are cooking up a plan to violently harass the next dungeon group we queue into and i need that to top it off.
needs to support external sounds.
You can't play a sound file to another client if that's what you're thinking uuunless you force them to install an addon i guess.

nah i just need it clientside
Druid is so fun, holy crap. I originally wasn't too big a fan of the whole shapeshifting shitck but it's really grown on me. Druid feels like the most versatile class in the game with all these forms, he can deal great DPS, tank when needed, and minorly heal. These last few dungeons I've been doing a little bit of everything and it's great.
