The bosses themselves were, it was getting the people together, travelling to the entrance, making sure everyone had the right attunement or key, the right items etc etc... that was hard.
Game get's rather boring when you don't have anything to do after lfr and dailies.

If i've already got a character with full 645+ followers, what's the chance of me making enough money from gold missions (40k) to replace the gold from buying a Token?
gold missions won't be enough
you'll need alts for that

In vanilla there was always something to do. Usually it was herb farming to make pots for the next raid.

Yea. Everyone on Wyrmrest just uses LFG. You can talk to everyone from wherever instead of just other people in their garrisons.

The level cap was raised to 80 in Wrath of the Lich King and Goblins were added as a playable race in Cataclysm.

Also Gilnean Worgen.
That said I wish you could just choose to not be a Worgen and just play as a Gilnean Human, they are by far much more interesting than the regular Human race.

Best thing about Nostalrius is the Alliance guild named Peruvian Pan Fluteband who abuse the rat whistle item from the Deeprun Tram quest and just spam an awful whistling sound everywhere they go.

I'm not really fond of Druid's healing system. It seems like they go for hot instead of direct healing spells like Flash Heal.
