i remember when i knew nothing about dps rotation or what stats were best for me, and i was crap, (this was in wrath) and doing shit dps, and got into a guild doing ICC with my irl friends, and was shortly kicked out because of my shit dps. Then i researched what i needed to do and my rotation and shit. Shortly became a bloody good dps. Their guild fell apart, we made a new one with half of their team (the good guys) and i was top dps, then the guy that called me shit and didn't want to wait for me to learn my rotation wanted to join our guiild and raid team. We let him and he was doing less than all of us. He then must have forgotten who i was and told us a story about the shit dps boomkin. Which i revealed was me. We shortly got rid of him because his DPS was too low.

I've bought every expansion and I generally complete all the base content, and then play about halfway through the content updates.
I stopped with Draenor right before they even released Highmaul though. Can't really be assed to do anything, and I hate having to play catch up for a month to even start to do the new stuff. That's why I really loved the Timeless Isles, everyone was mad at "Free epics!!!" but it actually allowed me to do some content with my friends.
I just don't have it in me anymore to log on every day like I used to but god damn I still buy all of Blizzard's expansions and I'll be buying the next one too.

Tanaan is Timeless 2.0. It's even easier to get geared up to 650, and having a dwarven bunker/warmill gives you even more chance to get epic gear that's 695.
I list a Kazzak group right after lockout resets and no fucking joke within 30 seconds countless hunters just flood in.
