If they ever do remove a hero, I hope they mean in the sense that they just completely redesign their gameplay and kit instead of just... cutting an entire character out of the game for good
I'd rather Mei give up her ice powers than just be removed entirely, it would feel just plain bad for them to delete canon like that
opened up a loot crate, got two voice lines in it, Tracer's "Eat my dust" and Hanzo's "I do what i must"
I don't want to buy a game for it to be an entirely different game in a year.
I want it to be the same game, with more content.
It'd also be really fucking weird to have new players coming in going, "Who's Junkrat?", or "What's a Reaper, lol?"
If Blizzard is smart they'll close the door on retiring heroes. There is no justifiable reason beyond something involving greed.
Kinda feels like I should play myself sick while the game is in a state I enjoy tbh :pudge:

If they remove a hero I might decide to stop playing all together. Because that is some grade-a bullshit. I am really questioning A LOT of Blizzard's choices lately.
I'd say they should be able to remove / completely rework heroes if they're extremely disliked in PTR, but when they're in the main game that's where they should only try to rework them.

This shit is getting irritating. They gave their word before the game came out that heroes and maps would be free and a lot of people bought the game based on that promise. Now they're acting like they're doing us a fucking favor or something. I can only speak for myself but the day they put a price on a new hero, map or anything that isn't strictly a cosmetic item, I'm done with Blizzard and this game.

I still think it's important that we don't let them forget. Don't trust the developers of any game. Always be on the lookout for anything shady and call them out on it.
