I noticed 2 fucking things that pissed me the fuck off as Symmetra while trying her out more.
Graviton Surge destroys sentries for no fucking reason. I had a full arsenal of turrets crafting hidden behind signs and other spots on King's Row and before they got any use in they were all instantly destroyed by a Zarya who pressed q on the same zip code as them and who didn't even know they were there.
Second off why the fuck can't teles be placed in corners of rooms (i.e. places teles would ideally be placed to remain out of sight). I have to put them 3 feet away from any walls and by then there's a bunch of lines of sight for enemies to see it.
Everything destroys sentries for no reason. It's come to a point where I actually get upset when teammates die to her, they have like one health, and do like no damage, holy shit how did she get fifteen kills with them

I hate Zarya's ult, the fact you might be hiding behind the wall next to it, it will still pull you which is stupid. There are similar issues with other AoE ults, Mei for example.

The only thing teammates ever see is red, blood, they want it so badly. I had 17 eliminations with Symmetra's turrets once, because they were so stupid to try to kill me in a room filled with sentries and they walked one by one, I had medkit nearby too so I had sustain, sometimes they'd re-spawn and try again to brute force their way through, it's like they never learn.
If Sombra is more of a meme machine than Dva is, I think the subreddit will implode.

I actually like Symmetra! A lot of people for some reason don't realise she's great on some maps, but a "definitely do not use" on others. Like other people have said, Symmetra's main purpose is to shut off flank routes and close down entire rooms with your turrets, distract people by making them chase down your tele and target your little turrets instead of your team, and to try to have a teleporter up at all times for those 6 mercy revives. Her alt-click is great for just being really fucking annoying, because the attackers have to constantly dodge out of the way of this slow death orb, meaning they're focusing on that more than your team. Another thing people don't really know is when to switch off her. Usually if we're defending and they take the first point, I switch off. Symmetra becomes a lot less useful in the second point because there's very little purpose to her teleporter.

There is a trick to Symmetra I use, you charge up your shot fully, then you fire bunch of smaller ones right behind it, the bigger projectile should be able to obstruct the view of the smaller ones coming right behind it. Overall use this versus tanks, especially Reinhardt when he shields.
Edit:
The key is to fire it in intervals right behind the biggest projectile, in a straight line. You can regulate them from biggest to smallest or one big one and bunch of small ones, usually fire in 3-4 projectiles.

Even if Sombra isn't there's a guarantee that "I was thought dead but not really" that Blizzard will use it again. It's a running theme through the roster.

Still don't understand how a company like Blizzard can't hire decent writers. They have built a stable game, have an amazing animation department, and own some of the most successful IPs out there, but they somehow can't afford people to write decent stories?

The collective masses lose their shit.
I mean the whole overarching theme was that Overwatch and most of its members were killed off. Those we got now are mostly just lucky survivors, or retired old people answering the call despite being in awful shape.
Would be nice to get more non-Overwatch characters, though.

Yeah except Mei's ult can be LoS'd. If you can't see Snowball then the freeze won't affect you. Zarya's ult pulls you in regardless of whether you were behind 3 walls or not.

10 of the 22 heroes are not a part of Overwatch though. That's 45%
Bastion, Hanzo, Junkrat, Widowmaker, D.Va, Roadhog, Zarya, Lucio, Symmetra, Zenyatta
I guess you can kinda count Widowmaker since her husband was affiliated with Overwatch. That's still quite a bit of the roster, more than people realize I think.

Bastion and Widowmake were pretty relevant in Overwatch's story, though. And it's still a huge part of the cast.
