I like to believe that maybe on a spiritual level, monks like Mondyatta believed that to truly be considered equal with humans, being able to be "resurrected" in a way wouldn't be right.
Sure, being able to come back like that would be swell, but maybe it just wouldn't be the same?

theres not much story to create when you're trying to compare it to a character that's already there and the backstory is also already written
blizzard pretty much just animated the hero description -- they can't really retcon what they've already established without making people flip out.

Birds are really high maintenance. Plus some birds will harm themselves due to loneliness, which means you'll need to buy another bird. And cleaning their cages is not pleasant at all.

Game modes I would LOVE to see:
First of the typical stuff; Deathmatch free for all / team Deathmatch / capture the flag
Because why the he'll not it would be kinda fun.
Then some kind of MvM
Either against talon or Omnic
And maybe some actual overwatch missions.
I know it's not really built this way but it would be sweet if you and three other people could pick a character and complete a series of objectives to complete a mission
I.e. 76, Torb, Rien and mercy have to break into a talon base, disable something, steal something and leave all the while under attack.
I'd love that.

This [I]trailer [/I]didn't trigger the want for a pet bird, I've had the want for one for well over a year, I just haven't been able to act on that because both my landlords so far have had rules forbidding pets of any kind.
I've done my research, and I'm very well aware of what a hassle birds are, I'm very aware that you NEED to buy birds in pairs to prevent loneliness, I'm very aware that they tend to smell and are a general mess to clean, and I'd be entirely okay with that.

One of the few things I found interesting about Battleborn was the single player stuff. It could translate pretty well for Overwatch, especially since this dev team is miles above more competent than anyone at Gearbox.
PS4 and Xbone are up to date with the PC version.

Sorry, I was just sharing my prior experience from owning birds. I'm sure you'll have better luck with a bird than I did.

Like, they just have to do a long voice acting session and then they animate D.va and they just hires a random starcraft top player and put him in a account named "D.VA" and put his gameplay in it
The problem with wanting to change or 'nerf' Zarya is complex and i'm sure Blizzard knows it. Her design is simple, yet her execution is intricate and very delicate to touch without foresight in advance.
Truly being one of the only characters that directly benefits core design wise from how situationally aware, game sense knowledge, and reaction speeds one would possess, this is what seperates an average Zarya player from a great Zarya player, something no arbitrary number change can ever really directly address.
Already possessing high cooldowns for her 2-second abilities, it requires you to act reactively instead of using it as a jail-free card, yet this is where her mind game potential would come in; as she can dominate if she can control the situation she is in with her presence, you're not going to want to shoot somebody who can feed off your damage at any time she would pop a shield. Yet a Zarya is not going to want to engage unless she has her shields ready for imminent deployment, or is not dealing with imminent high dps threats. This is where your knowledge of Zarya's hidden shield potential and situational awareness comes in; as you can determine when to strike when you know you cannot be dealt with immediately, hence controlling your situations in your favor.
Her shields also act as an instant death protection, being one of the only characters that can shrug off certain attacks and bull her way through ults others like Tracer bombs or D.va nukes, something incredibly unique to her character as no-one else can actually [B]benefit[/B] from these high damaging ults such as feeding herself damage through her shields.
There's alot of intricate depth to Zarya's seemingly simple kit, it's hard to pinpoint where exactly to even start and i'm sure Blizzard is aware just how touchy the subject is, since her strength lies in other factors aside from numbers that work in tangent with her ability usage

That just sounds like a really boring waste of animation talent.
If anything, using it in conjunction with the fact that she (according to her backstory) streams while out in the field fighting would be the way to go.
