Genji nerf complaining in a nutshell: "boo hoo my main is now pretty much on par with the other attack heroes"
Aren't you the "the counter to Zen is Zen" guy?
Maybe I don't want the viable hero pool to be reduced even further? EDIT: and I've played him more than 2 hours since that's just comp play time, just saying he's far from my main and I'm not just salty
What i meant is, you played only 2 hours in comp with genji, how could you have seen for yourself these new change? You also have to adapt to these new change, did you used to do good killstreak with genji in the past with/without his ultimate and suddenly the changes to his moveset and ultimate made it so you can't play him like you used to? Genji is still a viable hero, but genji player will have to adapt to the change. Was the nerf such a big nerf that literally destroyed your playstyle like he had his shuriken damage reduced/his hp reduced?
hot opinion: genji wasn't op, just a lot of good players played him
The short was adorable. Bastion's story is really sad. But I really wanted to know how he became part of overwatch. this just shows us his origins which is fine, it was directed wonder an in that final shots where it shows him half way from the city and the forest just standing there was brilliant. My guess/headcanon is that he stays there for ages, someone sees him reports that a Bastion unit is in the forest, new overwatch come in to disable it but end up taking it home AND THEY ALL LIVE HAPPILY EVER AFTER A comment I saw "does this mean every time we see a Bastion POTG that's him just reliving his PTSD"
The gameplay is very non canon He isn't part of overwatch like Junkrat and Roadhog aren't Same with I really don't think Reaper and Soldier would be fighting side by side

Both of those things got nerfed at once. The question is not whether you can still do well with him. I can still do well with Soldier 76. But why would I want to when I could do better with McCree instead? EDIT: And yes I've played him on PTR

what i find funny about people whining about the genji animation cancel removal is the fact that nobody defended widow when they made her feel like shit if you already got used to the old scope why can't genji players just learn the new way instead of whining about it like widow players had to
Genji had a high swap rate already so if these changes go through (along with the indirect nerfs to him) we're possibly going to see him dumped in the F-tier.
I think 90% of the people who wanted him nerfed said he just needed a slight ult duration reduction, but Blizzard did Blizzard things and crashed him into the ground.

Now I want a map that takes place in an Omnic graveyard.
because snipers are fucking dumb and have no place in videogames
i can call genji fucking dumb too and say he has no place in overwatch but i wont
He isn't part of Overwatch.
He always will be to me ;~;
Genji's ult nerf is fine. I'd rather them give small buffs to the other unpicked heroes before nerfing him more though.
quickplay has gone down the shitter recently huh.
The Bastion short with the war scene makes me kinda wish Blizzard would make an RTS of the Omnic War
They need to start picking up the slack for a lot of heroes. A good third of the heroes are straight downgrades to other heroes or just not good at all competitively.
I don't recall Torb ever getting a change. Or Phara... Winston... Junkrat. Road. Tracer. Come to think of it I think most of the characters have stayed the same.
I'd be fine with Genji getting his triple jump back, that never really bothered me. To be honest, I don't remember a whole lot of people complaining about it to begin with.

I feel like the current competitive scene is too unwilling to really give differing team comps a go. Like we probably will see Genji drop to F tier simply because instead of people trying to bother using him they'll just pick whatever is comfortable. Which is a fine and sound choice but it brings problems when you decide to balance around "Oh this character is picked a lot/isn't picked a lot, let's nerf/buff them because clearly pickrate is indicative of balance."
the game will never be in a place where more than 3/4ths of the heroes are viable in competitive
This is true but you have to admit having 13 heroes at a less than 5% pickrate in a game thats main draw is the huge cast of characters is pretty pathetic. Its been better than it currently is in the past.
Wonder how long it'll take before someone edits the scene of bastion shooting trees with the potg theme playing in the background.
you called it !

So they would be "EQUALLYPOWERED" then. :v:

Last night had a huge losing streak, won only 2 or 3 games. . First loaded up the game to play today, onto a new 5 losing streak. Quick play is a wreck.
