I played a few games despite getting a wrist surgery done today. I didn't think I could do any accurate shooting, so I put this in the chat every time I joined a new game.
Just a heads up; I had surgery done on my wrist today, so I may not be playing super well. Apolgies for the inconvenience!

People were surprisingly cool about it too. Really nice getting cool pubs like that. :cat:

Had a similar one in the exact same place where Reinhardt ran out of spawn jumped over me to ult our team, and right after he ults, I use my tire for a triple kill and survive because our Zarya shielded me just as I blew it up.
This Zarya complained that I needed to learn how to position myself properly as Zenyatta because I died to a Tracer bomb stuck to the Zarya whom proceeded to run directly into me.
Twice.
I think the first laugh taunt I am going to get is Junkrat. It reminds me of the Joker so much and I love it.

mercy's laugh taunt is so adorable

blizzard shorts are meant to be serious, worldbuilding material
whereas the valve shorts were almost all played for gags, other than meet the scout and meet the heavy, both of which are the weakest of the shorts
the valve shorts still kick the shit out of the blizz ones other than bastion's, but different approach to them
i think nostalgia is taking over because in my opinion the tf2 shorts arent anymore cleverly written than any of ow's

meet the spy is pretty good
God damn the war scene of the Bastion short is cool as fuck.

Dark Souls emote dodging strats when?
Reddit has suddenly collectively decided animation cancelling is an exploit to justify the Genji nerf. Except it's clearly not because if it were it'd be removed for every character.
I doubt this will ever be fixed and I'll probably be sneered at but the leaver penalty is abusively harsh
I get wanting to slap guys on the wrist who rage quit, but if you want the leaver penalty how about you make matchmaking work so I can join proper games with stable connections or where it's balanced teams
As soon as you get the leaver penalty its like chylmidia, it stays forever and really discourages you from even wanting to bother with the game

It's an exploit, but it effects different characters differently
If you time it just perfectly, you can swing Reinhardt's hammer really fast by flipping open his shield and cancelling the swing animation, but if you get it wrong, you lose a hit. This is an exploit but it isn't a problem, because it's so hard to do and it does very little help
Genji was moving in ways that were making him difficult to fight against
please matchmaking
I don't like playing against people with 200% accuracy and preternatural senses
like I seriously don't understand
It's like I'm constantly up against people far more accurate and responsive than me but they forget to stand on the point enough times that we win and the game thinks I'm good
I seemed to have gotten a 60% winrate as Genji, and I've probably pulled off the full Genji combo a handful of times.

TF2 shorts sucked until they dropped the inteview motif they were going for.
So pretty much just Meet the Spy/Medic/Pyro.
I guess Soldier has one joke in it, but Heavy,Scout and Demoman's are pretty boring
i think nostalgia is taking over because in my opinion the tf2 shorts arent anymore cleverly written than any of ow's
they aren't more cleverly written per se but they aren't absolutely ridden with cliche dialogue
theyre also a LOT more fun
I'm telling you, soon everyone's going to have a plasma rifle only and that's how it's going to wind up being balanced.
McCree will only get to keep his roll as his unique perk. Genji can dash in a straight line super fast. Pharah has a super jump (but can't float, a character forcing others to look up is OP), Tracer can blink once every 10 seconds, Winston has his long jump still etc.
Visually I'd say the overwatch ones are way more fun to watch, they're well animated and gorgeous
[t]http://i.imgur.com/0tx5MAz.png[/t]
Now that you mention it, why doesn't McCree have a "Who you callin' scruffy lookin'?" voiceline?

That might be an exploit, but using abilities during the firing/melee animation is intentional

I think some of them are a bit too similar at a distance but for the characters that are more off model like Junkrat they easily pass the silhouette test. Someone posted him doing his dance emote in front of the moon and you can instantly tell who it is because he's so different.
Reinhardt is the most satisfying hero to play.

I meant the shorts, but I would agree the characters are well designed
My one issue is because of the skins it can legitmately be difficult to tell who's friendly or not
Quote of the day:
"We don't need a healer if we're all good at killing the other team before they can hurt us"
Does anyone else occasionally mistake torbjorns turret for an enemy?
It feels like it should have a teammate outline.
They should nerf Hanzo by making him hold his bow sideways like he does in first person so I can aim for the top of the silhouette and not shoot over his head repeatedly
There is literally no reason to play on Temple of Anubis unless you enjoy losing
"Mei's been buffed"
"How so"
Mei turns into a ice block
"I'm not seeing it"
McCree's peacemaker slowly penetrates from the inside and she begins shooting people with it like a turret
That's how you buff Mei
