For Symmetra I had a idea of her being able to teleport teammates. Like just be a teleporter with a gun. She has to hold still and do some wacky hand motion and then stay still the entire time it's up- but back in spawn the teleport portal opens up and you're just brought to wherever Symmetra is at the time. I don't think it would be overpowered seeing as Symm has to stop moving and do the full animation to get it up but it would be way more useful then just a piddly 25 Shield and a shitty ult
Personally, I'd like it better if the teleporter was quite strong It's an ultimate, it should be able to withstand someone glaring at it before being destroyed.
It's almost the exact opposite, 76 is about constant sustained damage while running around at full speed dodging enemies and using items, while Mcree is about sudden burst damage while standing still.
76 is still better because he brings utility and can do objectives better whereas McCree just shows up and gets blown up.
Personally, I'd like it better if the teleporter was super strong What kind of ult only has 25hp it should AT LEAST have 100.
Lol, what? It has 200 health.
Anyone else get a PTR background patch?
Whenever I see a healer get a bunch of heals I see them get tons of upvotes, but I never get a single upvote whenever I play healer.
76 is still better because he brings utility and can do objectives better whereas McCree just shows up and gets blown up.
S76 Ult can almost be considered a downgrade since you won't land any headshots and you know how to aim, no damage increase or anything at all. It's still perfect for cancel reloads though, i love that.
Symmetra really does need an overhaul. Turrets are to weak. Alright when all 6 are put out. But the recharge rate to put one down is atrocious considering how much health they have and how low damage they put out. Most of the time you will be waiting more for a turret to recharge then you would actually having turrets out. Her E is kinda useless. An extra 25 HP is nice. But the ability in general is just not good. Once the whole team has shields your E becomes meaningless. Her weapon is really nice. If you are able to get near the enemy with her 200 hp and no mobility and live long enough to get your beam up to level 3. Her energy balls can do a lot of damage. If they didn't go as slow as a snail to where everyone can avoid it. Her teleporter is great. If all the enemy flankers didn't know exactly where you put it up the moment that it is used. Most of the time your teleporter is destroyed by the time you can get your defenses up. but this is really all IMO and am just going based off my experience with her. I just think other heroes do her job better then she could.
You think thats bad? I finished season 1 with 250
Gee my heart weeps for ya.
76 is still better because he brings utility and can do objectives better whereas McCree just shows up and gets blown up.
Maybe, but they serve different roles and saying they're identical except one is better isn't really accurate.
Symmetra shouldn't have a turret cooldown imo

While I wouldn't even call myself good at Symmetra, I do enjoy playing her. If there were changes that needed to be made to her I would start with the turret cooldown, they take fucking forvever to recharge. I wouldn't buff their damage though, the entire point of them is to slow characters down so you can grab them with your beam, which is where the bulk of her damage should be.
Is there anything else interesting coming out of Gamescom, or is what we got yesterday everything?
What if they gave Symmetra multiple things to build? Like 100% ult would be a tp but you could use 20% to throw up a wall or something?
She should still have a cooldown for building turrets but it should either be significantly reduced or she should store up to 6 in reserve. It takes ages for her to build a defense a Reinhardt can fuck up in a matter of seconds. I think if they gave her that and have it so she can build ult at a reduced rate while her teles up she wouldn't be the overall worst hero in the game.
Is there anything else interesting coming out of Gamescom, or is what we got yesterday everything?
I could have sworn they said "this is just the first day". They made it sound like they had more news coming. But that may just be me wanting Sombra news and interpreting it wrong.
Symmetra shouldn't have a turret cooldown imo
She could spam that shit midfight otherwise.
She could spam that shit midfight otherwise.
Hardly. It still has a deploy time and 1 health, on top of that fact she's vulnerable while doing it.
Surprise patch on August 23rd Blizzard adds American McCree to everyones hero gallery. Everyone is so unanimously happy with blizzard no one ever whines about skins or balance again.
Honestly I don't think the Genji nerf will have much effect. It weakened him but it really did not remove any of his tools. What I thought was the worst part of his ult - the absurdly quick charge rate - is still untouched.

There is one thing people forget that Deadeye is actually good for: It bypasses transcendence or any other form of healing entirely.

Also, I had a thought: current situation with Tanks seems to somewhat mirror the situation with Healers. Zenyatta is (was?) the best healer because he could heal, deal damage, and debuff at the same time. Zarya is the best Tank because she can tank and deal damage at the same time, which is something only her and Winston can do, and Winston does shit damage unlike Zarya.

There probably hasn't been an ult I haven't seen thirty seconds after the round starts before.
What about Rienhardt?
He can take hits when swinging his hammer around but he's helpless when you put his shield up.
