I have no gripes with it, being a defender at the start is a joy because the enemy almost always goes up the ramp to the left and having a good defence up there at the start can break the team and force them to switch out, high dps in the tunnels like junkrat forces them onto the main roads or the cliff and it's easy to push them back on defence
Then they reach the first checkpoint and the defenders are on the back foot all the way till the army base then it's just a matter of who can get all their ults out first

Gotta love when the enemy team can't do jack shit but when overtime comes around they become like super pros and never miss a shot while always having their ults ready even though you could have sworn they just used their ults not even 5 seconds ago. Then they win the game.

Looking at competitive pick rates is probably the worst thing you could do to look at how balanced heroes are. It doesn't really mean shit.

It's not proportionate to pick rate but it does tell you which heroes are better than other similar heroes with decent accuracy. McCree might not be 28 times better than Soldier, but he is better than Soldier
I picked Ana last game, this Genji dedicated all his time to constantly follow me everywhere and ult me whenever he could, I even asked him how sad is he. I survived long enough to ult players on my team who would also have ults ready.

In high school I signed up to help take care of the disabled kids because I thought I'd be doing something nice for the school and it would look good on my card.
Who knew those kids I looked after would end up smarter than half of Overwatch's playerbase on the ps4. Today is one of the first days where I just lost it and got absolutely fucking fed up with my teammates.
Enemy attack bastion sets up at a high point and my entire team literally ignores it and tries to fight other people while it slaughters them. I'm the only one that ever goes after it and each time it sets up when I'm not around it's team kill after team kill. Actually fucking retarded.
Next map a enemy tracer gets behind us and my team just thinks "eh she's on her way home we'll let her by" and choose to totally ignore her. They don't turn around, they dont' fight. They just tunnel vision run straight to the point loaded with Symmetra turrets, Torb turrets and the rest of the enemy team. They just keep running in one by one. That Tracer pops out and kills a few before leaving? Ehh she left no way she'll come back.
I want to scream just how fucking awful these people are. I've never been so angry at a video game in my entire life.

I've been playing really shitty the last few days. Felt like I hadn't seen gold in forever.
Suddenly decided to pick up Zarya, a hero I might've touched twice before, and I fucking wrecked house.
Got 4 gold medals and POTG, then next round got 4 gold medals again as Torb on Gibralter defense.
Breaking a shit streak with two amazing matches feels fucking great.

We can't know 100% of what was going in the match but if nobody bothers a support, then the flank hero like Genji is not doing the right job.
People would ult me, a Lucio, a support, just to make sure my team would cripple from no healing or such.
I'm mostly speaking as somebody that constantly face Tracers trying to stick pulse bomb me all the time.
I'm talking about Genji who was so garbage he couldn't 1v1 a support who was alone and away from his team, cause he was so shit, so he had to use his ult to solo kill someone, meanwhile we had a Lucio on our team who was perfectly fine.
Trying to kill an Ana as Genji is fairly hellish, even triple headshot xx melee xx dash can be survived with a heal nade and you can get tranqed

The funny thing is, it's so hard for me to hit Genji with it, you get one opportunity, my aim isn't so good anyway, if I beat a Genji as Ana it makes my day.

Yeah, I still don't "get" sleep dart yet. I'm grinding out Ana games in quick play right now and it's the most frustrating part of her to learn to use.
Winston's ult is probably the worst ult in the game. Yeah it turns him into a monster tank and he can knock people back but it feels so underwhelming and useless compared to other ults. Youd think an angry ape would do some actual harm smacking people around but they just gently get knocked back
