Not very well. Can confirm.
It's like being stuck in hell. Every loot box you feel like you will get it. You really hope this crate will be the one. You opened 70 boxes before that with no luck. Maybe this one will finally be the one that gets you American McCree. As the box opens. You see a purple fly out. Your heart starts to beat with excitement. Just to see that it was a coin drop and your summer games item was a duplicate spray.

welp i keep seeing people always say expand your horizons and be able to play more than one hero/fulfill more than one role, but when youre only capable of extremely fucking sucking and dragging your whole team down if you try to play anything else but support, should probably stick to that one role youre somewhat capable at
either that or matchmaking is just fucked like it always is
They need to remove hero stacking in quick play too, I'm tired of seeing 2 Genjis on each team lately.

I'm tired of seeing multiple of any hero in quick play. It's broken and not fun to play against. Not to even mention when underage memers on your team decide it's the most hilarious thing to go all 1 class and lose the match for you.
If people want to play as goofy stacks of heroes, they should have to start up a custom match with their friends to do it.
Genji controls regular game.
Hanzo controls PTR.
I guess only a Shimada can control the meta.

Eyyy don't worry about your win rate dude. You can't get good if you instantly steamroll everything with someone you've never tried before. When I sat down and decided I wanted to learn Genji my winrate with him was like... 3 - 10.
Now it's up to 20 - 20. Just gotta keep trying to improve.

Do you still get experience points if the game kicks you out for there not being enough players? Just had the whole other team leave in Lucio ball with 30 seconds remaining and it kicked all of us out.
I know quick play gets a lot of flak for being full of inept players. But yesterday we had a game where everyone went mercy and see how it would go. Blasters everywhere! Everyone had their ultimate ready all the time so we had overtime that lasted 5 minutes. It was the most fun i've had in a multiplayer game of any sort for a long time.
It also made it quite clear that temple of anubis is seriously defender sided map.
I decided to play some Overwatch today. Solo-queued because all my friends were busy.
I joined a game as attack on Hollywood with thirty seconds remaining. My team has no healer, a tank that was playing like an offense hero, and four offense heroes that were consistently split up. In the entire match, they had not gotten past the first chokepoint before the point. I stood in the archway as Lucio blindly firing toward the point for five seconds and ended the game with three gold medals.

At this point any little hope I had just died in a painful way.
Cosmetics or not this is a horrible idea and all negative feedback could have been avoided if at least A) We were able to get the items using our coins or B) Make the loot boxes be able to give you at least 2 or more the new items.
Or just keep the boxes as "at least one event item" but make it so you can't get dupes of them.
It would have been really great if the summer boxes gave me summer items aside from duplicate avatars.
